Hi Rob, nice presentation on CTS, moreover please let me know how CTS shall improve multi-factor productivity for units per dollar.
@supplychainsecrets4 жыл бұрын
I have not used CTS in a production environment but I'm sure the exact same principles could be applied to aspects such as batch size (run length) and change over costs.

I watched the webinar (and some of your other videos as well), you're putting out some really great info, thank you! Would you carry out this exercise on every product ordered by every customer? I can see the value absolutely, but it seems like it could spiral into a mammoth task! Also, is there anywhere I can go for more technical guidance on CTS? E.g. I can calculate the cost implications of excess stock, but not sure of the proper way to amortise that on an order line basis... Thanks again

Yes, every customer, every order. It's not that hard. start with a transaction file, determine a cost allocation method, and allocate the costs. This video explains it in detail. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3_CXoiupNt6rdE

@supplychainsecrets4 жыл бұрын
I would include them as an overhead.
@STQTalks4 жыл бұрын
@@supplychainsecrets Interesting! On the contrary, software reduces the overhead costs :).
@supplychainsecrets4 жыл бұрын
@@STQTalks it’s still a cost. So in cost to serve allocation, I would class it as overhead,
