God bless you man! I can say this is certainly the first Georgian video that really shows how beautiful it is. Many vloggers go on and on about how beautiful it is over there but only end up showing us their own faces only. You are pretty good with filming.

Dude there are no crosswalks because it's a very Georgian thing to just cross the street wherever you want :D

We have a kind guy from there here in states now. He does doordash. I have to talk to him through translation. He's so kind♥️♥️♥️♥️. It is the same in US. America isn't America no more. Our government killed it.

I've been living in Tbilisi for 15 years now, it's a great place but traffic is crazy. Too many cars and they park anywhere and don't always respect zebra crossings.

Please, tell me the name of the hostel in Tiblisi, so that I book a bed! Also, you are quoting in dollars. Are dollars or euros used as much as the local currency? How about credit cards?
@mindfulnas
@mindfulnas 3 ай бұрын
It's called the Tbilisi Pod. I think I just payed with a visa card. They use local currency. I just converted to dollars for the video. Enjoy your trip!

@@mindfulnas I'm planning to eventually settle around Batumi for retirement, but I'll be spending some time in Tbilisi. I think the demonstrations will have died down by the time I get to the capital city. Thank you for letting me know the name of the hostel!

Tbilisi prices are double or triple what they were before the war. Also, locals are bitter and unfriendly compared to a few years ago. Not a good place to go now unless you're a Russian escaping war and sanctions. To live well long-term you should expect to pay $2 usd a month for a decent lifestyle. Better options elsewhere.

Well, I'd put it around 1300 give or take. Have been liiving here for 2 years at least. But yes the war did change the cost situation for the worse.

The rent did get more expensive but the peak is way behind now. The peak was in September 2022 when flats were incredible expensive. Now many Russians have left Georgia and I would say you can get a 1 badroom apartment in the center for around 800$ (on Airbnb) not super cheap but still cheap compared to wester european cities
