Very good information and helpful tips! The only thing I would add is telling about the "con" of all-in-one PC's. When you purchase one you are stuck with what is in it; by that I mean there is no way to upgrade the power supply or the hard drive, the only upgradable part in that machine is the RAM. I made the mistake of buying one last year and realized I couldn't upgrade those parts too late. Am satisfied with the way it works but I like to get inside and "mess around" with the innards.
@ChardTheTechGuy4 жыл бұрын
Glad to hear that the tips were helpful. Yes I agree that's the only drawback of the All-In-One, but most people who choose those computers are not interested in upgrading any internal parts, they just want to plug and start playing.

I'm into photography, am told that to get all of the power that I need for processing photos I need a gaming computer because of the graphics capability, at least 16GB RAM. There's a lot of options out there, it's mind boggling! Can you offer me some insight? Thanks so much.
@ChardTheTechGuy4 жыл бұрын
Try to get a computer or laptop with highest processor (Intel i7) you can afford, get a least 16 GB RAM and a dedicated Graphic card (Nvidia or AMD), so the display doesn't feed off the system RAM. The final storage is a big key for you with photos, even if you don't get enough internally, get an external drive.

Thanks for the info. I do have a question, my 13 year old wants to go from his old iPad to a desktop “gaming computer”. He only plays Minecraft and roblox primarily. I am on a budget, and I’m not sure if he really needs the more expensive gaming computer setup. Do you have some insight and maybe a suggestion on what options would be best to go with? I’m in the dark technically speaking. Ty!
@ChardTheTechGuy4 жыл бұрын
You're welcome, no you don't need a gaming PC for these games Here are the minimum specs needed CPU: Intel Core i3 RAM: 4 GB RAM (8 GB Prefer) HDD: 1 GB available space or greater. GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000 OS: Windows 10 But you can spend for more if it's in your budget.
