If it is a 17 check the VIN for steering rack update. Also if it has rear aftermarket pull plate, front gusset kit don’t think it was wrecked, it actually is the weak areas and need to be updated if not already. Remove the mud scrappers in the rear wheels if they have not already and inspect the wheels that they are not all sliced up from rocks getting trapped in the rear wheels. Put swing arm flaps on Along with removing the mud scrapper. Jack machine up and wiggle the wheels for play. Grease the wheel bearings, the rears come factory pretty dry.

I’m going to sell mine next month. Full S3 suspension, shock tower brace, front gusset kit, STI HD9 wheels, new 32” Coyote tires, BRP metal roof, BRP upper doors, BRP storage bags, BRP windshield, Ryfab storage box, 2 new spare axles, Rugged Radios RM25WP, list goes on and on. I’ll lose a fair amount of money, but mine’s been built right. They are fantastic woods machines for sure. I just prefer my Turbo S now so the XMR Turbo R doesn’t leave the garage anymore.

We enjoy the Turbo S also for slower rides.

Some good points. I appreciate the video but the stereo, lower doors, etc def add value to the used price!!

The right person will pay for them. You are right. Not everyone.

the thing about buying used utv's all around the world not just buying a used one in the USA, is that they fall in the same category as a (off road use vehicle same as an atv, as a buggy , rally raid , trophy truck , and side by sides ) most probability is that it was abused or rolled over or crashed and now they want a new toy so the people selling this things think they can ask more than what they were worth new , and i get it right now everything cost more, being completely honest i was in the market for buying a side side used but people ask for prices out of this world, unrealistic , never in the history of buying used cars have i paid for parts the owner adds to the car , the car is worth msrp and they loose value based on that price not in how many parts the owner add so we add more cost to you NO !!!!!!!!! ITS WRONG !!!!!!! .

I see alot of used rides trying to stay at what they brought it for because they added 10k of accessories. Sorry man but I'm not paying for that. I rather buy a new SXS for a few more thousands dollars

Oil changes and how often! Those are easier to look at because they are on road. Obviously, you do not want a wrecked one so you can follow a lot of the same items as we listed above. Look for anything that looks newer than anything else. People who take care of their bikes keep them crazy clean, so if the bike is dirty, look at it twice as hard.

I have seen 10K on some machines, but there is a lot that could go wrong at 4K. To me, 4K would be like 100K on a car. It depends if it was a road machine or a trail machine. It better be a good buy with 4K on it.
