Sorry if the audio is weird on this video!! 🔊 For headphone wearers…Some sections are LEFT side only?? Still figuring the kinks out with my mic I guess 😅😭😭

If you happen to record only one channel with audio then If using Adobe Premiere Pro: Under Audio Effects > Special there should be a filter for audio called "Fill (side) with (side)" If using Davinci Resolve: Under Audio FX there should be a "Stereo Fixer". Once applied, a window pops up with a two knobs and 6 buttons buttons, two buttons of which do "Left only" or "Right only". You can apply these per audio clip so at least both sides have audio. If using any other editing software, I can't exactly help out but it should have something similar. Hope this helps.

A little advise from a motorcycle licensing instructor on the other side of the world..........Australia🇦🇺 When slow riding, the key is to find the friction point of your clutch, the point where it starts to slip, but is still grabbing enough to drive the bike forward. Bring the revs up to just above idle, and let that clutch slip. You won't damage the clutch doing this like you would in a car. Then, use the rear brake to control your speed. Grip the tank really tightly with your knees. This will lock you into the bike with your lower body, allowing your upper body to remain relaxed and control the bike. Keep your eyes up, looking to where you want to go. We go where we look !! Good luck with your MC journey 👍

Thank you for the tips!! Using the rear brake at slow speeds is something that scared me at first, but after trying it a few times it has been so useful! Appreciate it 💜✌🏻

Rule #1. We never use the front brake with our handlebars turned at slow speed. Quickest way to end up on the ground ! Only ever the rear 👍

I learned a visor tip from MC Rider. Keep a roll of electric tape with you. Take a strip of tape and put it across the top of your visor. I used his top last week and it made a huge difference. Don't take offense (not that you did) when others don't wave back. Sometimes it's just an inconvenient time, like a busy intersection or an idiot in their mirror that they're concentrating on. Both of you are doing great. Love the parking lot practicing.

one tip for super tight turns is to slide your butt to the outside of the seat. that allows you to get more weight out there to counter the bike's tendency to fall into the turn, especially with a higher center of gravity like your bike has compared to her rebel.

A lot of your issues are are just something that comes with experience. You are trying to take those turns very slow an upright. Dabbing your foot when the bike starts to lean over. The bike needs to lean over to do its thing. You need to push it down. (Push on the right bar to lean right an go right) That requires you trusting it to stand back up when you push on other handlebar. As long as you keep moving it will. But that trust comes with time an repetition. This is also easier if you're going a little faster. The slower you go, the harder it gets. In a U-turn you want to keep your eyes up an try to put your chin on your shoulder. If you are looking down at the cones, you cant see the horizon. Your brain can not easily tell your orientation to the ground without a horizon line. By looking down at the cones, you force your brain to use your inner ear to tell you if your falling over. Your inner ear confuses the turn for falling. Also, by putting your chin to your shoulder, it helps trick you inner ear from telling you that it thinks you're falling over. So right U-turn is chin to right sholder, look at the horizon, push the right bar, the bike leans over an turns, your head follows the exit of the turn, an you push the left bar to stand the bike up. You may want to watch some beginner off road riding channels. While street bike channels cover slow speed stuff, off road riding is almost exclusively digging in to the details of slow speed riding.

Progressive braking is the term if you want to do some research. Initially you want to apply the brakes lightly which transfers the weight of the bike more to the front wheel. Then progressively increase braking pressure. Also if your friend is locking up the rear wheel, that would suggest to me that she might need to use more of the front brake when stopping. Remember front brake does roughly 70% of the stopping. Enjoyed the update! Finally getting out for a day ride myself tomorrow. Been a few weeks, hope I'm not felling rusty!

Gabi, you're not getting any sympathy from those of us who live in the south with your 80 degree temps. It got up to 92 today with the South East's famous humidity. This is my first summer riding, and I can tell you, it's just too damn hot at those temps to be riding anywhere you can't keep a steady 40+mph. I have resorted to waking up at the crack of dawn and riding until about 10am on the weekends. I'm still not too excited to be riding at night all the time, but the early morning is better anyway. Much less traffic then, and the air is crisp. I also opted for a silver helmet and very light grey (almost white) mesh jacket. That's still not cutting it. I said in an earlier video that the interstate was boring and that I hardly ever ride on it. Well, that option is starting to look much more attractive in this heat. It's not even July yet. Yikes!
@gaabbiio3 ай бұрын
Ahhh yeah we have been having some pretty hot weather here too 85-100+... it is miserable in full gear lol. I only have the one thicker jacket and I am a ATGATT person so...😂🥵 I hope you get some cooler days soon! ride safe!✌️

You shouldn't be locking up your back brake or having your rear ABS activate with emergency braking. Most of your brakimg comes from your front brake. For the cruiser, it's about 70/30 front/rear, and your bike is more like 90/10
@gaabbiio4 ай бұрын
Yeah agreed! I mentioned my ABS more in the sense that it was a good indicator that I was using to much force when braking:) Thank you for the tips! I have heard that front brake has more braking authority, but I haven’t heard the 90/10 value!

If turning right is harder have a google for ice cream cone grip [src: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qoHWm6Vtn92CZtE] It's meant for high speed corners but the problems it solves are very applicable to slow speed. In the case of going right it stops your body from blocking you getting to full lock and keeps weight off your wrist making the throttle easier to control
