I rap and make beats, i also engineer and graphic design some what. but tbh i cant read music or fully play any instruments, BUT... I've always wanted to learn the piano and the drums, but tbh the drums were always intimidating! I've been watching your videos and i hope you keep going. I'm sure you wont see this comments because I'm sure you get so many but i just wanted to say youre super inspiring bro! like I'm legit thinking about heading to the doo wop shop and renting a drum set today and just seeing what happens, I'm wondering if an electric midi set is cheating? I just know that it would be more portable and much more quiet for my roommates lol. but I also wanted to say congrats on getting married!!! You seem like you're so happy! With my fails in my past relationships seeing you all, well.. that was another thing you inspired me to try...again lol, made it seem possible! maybe I should see more of the world before I give up on love. your new hometown looks so beautiful! I want to travel SO bad. I just know I get discouraged about not getting signed to a major label yet and feeling like a failure for not being super rich and famous by now, but... bro you have such an amazing life doing what you love because you never gave up [and im sure you being extremely talented played a part lol] but i mean you A®E famous and make money doing what makes you happy and marred to the love of your life while living in a beautiful tropical place! I mean shit bro, if that isn't ThE Dream or successI

I’m not sure where to go on this site to ask you questions …. So, here we go: What gadget do you use to tune your drums?? I recently paid$7.99 for Drumtune Pro so I could tune my drums. PDP “X7” series. 10 “, 12”, 14” floor and 22” kick. What should they be tuned in at.
@yuriselukoff3 жыл бұрын
It seems a lot of drummers go through a “huh, that’s a funny little drum tuning gadget, I should buy it” phase. But it looks like most of them eventually end up abandoning that idea and using just their ears.

Question to experienced drummers. Why is it so popular these days for drummers to favour a single rack tom? What’s the benefit of not having a smaller 2nd rack tom mounted next it? Is it just a fad?
@mellenix3 жыл бұрын
Some possible reasons 1) to get the ride sitting at lower more comfortable level 2) Not everyone needs it to do those long, fast fills or style of song 3) Practically can be easier to move around to gigs with one less gear 4) allows space for another drum element eg. cowbell
