I have witnessed narcissists stammer with loss of balance when asked, “Could you please repeat that?” These phrases are like getting extra chocolate chips .❤️🙏🏽

-Was that meant to be helpful, or hurtful? -Use “I’m noticing ____(ie a negative tone or a pattern of frustration when we talk about…). -Acknowledge the reverse with “It’s OK if you’re not …” These give the message “It’s OK, we can *still* talk.”

I have a young (tween) piano student who says passive aggressive things in lessons sometimes. I can use some of these responses while retaining kindness. Thanks!

🌿🧩Passive Aggressive behaviour quite often causes a person (with this behaviour) to remain silent & walk away, 🧩even dumping their negative emotions, 🧩without communicating. And it GOES ON FOR YEARS......🥱🥱🥱
