What To Watch Out For On Facebook Marketplace/Craigslist! Fixing a messy Oil Leak on Ltr 450 Quad!

Hey, bought this quad from Facebook marketplace. Turned out it had a oil leak that the seller didn’t tell me about. But I did honestly think it was worse then it was. The first time I saw the JB weld on the bottom, I thought the engine was cracked. Luckily it was just the gasket leaking and I could easily fix it. The same day I finished working on it, I had a guy come and pick it up, which was pretty satisfying but also a little sad. I let the guy know everything that was done to it to make sure he’s ok with it. I wanted to make sure I don’t let anyone down! If you guys know more and better ways to fix problems like this, feel free to comment below!

My LTZ 400 was leaking coolent when we bought it, took 3 weeks to get it all fixed after getting the wrong part at first, needed the whole motor coolent pump.

Not defending the Seller but. If the seller was pulling a "Scam" don't You think He would of Washed all the Oil off before selling it? I've seen alot of LTR"s that have an Oil drip and the Cases were never split nor cracked! I guess that's the reality of ..."Sold As is".
