I really hope wide leg jeans become a classic because I find them flattering, stylish, and very comfortable to wear. I actually find straight leg to be my least favorite and have had a difficult time finding the perfect fut in those. Bootcut never fails me.

I am 5’2” and love the kick flare style because it is fitted through the leg and allows me to wear my cowboy boots under. It adds an architectural visual interest to the look. And, I was a teenager in the 70’s and they make me feel young again❤

I started wearing high waisted, wide leg jeans in 2023. I LOVE this trend! ❤ When I pair them with a slightly cropped sweater or jacket, and a bit of a heel, they make me look taller and slimmer. A miracle for my 5'3" frame!

Years ago when embellished denim jackets were in, I took a very old jacket and sewed vintage buttons and beads from broken necklaces on it. I always get compliments on it. Somehow, it has never gone out of style and is now frayed with age.

I bought a few years ago 3 denim blazers in different jewel tones: jade, purple, and black. I love them, and I always get compliments I do send them to the cleaners and have them laundered and pressed and they are stylish and just fantastic to wear dressed up or down. I just found your channel, love this video! Denim is imo the most versatile fabric out there. Timeless and durable. I have a few denim jackets that are 10-15 years old, always in style because there is nothing new under the sun. My blazer is Liz Claiborne, about 2007, high neck with no lapels, (Mandarine style) dark wash,, slightly fitted, and fully lined with medium brown satin-like fabric. So many jean style options, I am sometimes boggled, but a pair of well fitting jeans of any style is a keeper in my closet. Thank you for this video!

Wide leg and high rise have been wearing for at least 3 years. Love it. Just purchased little bit straight leg but still quite wide jeans. And straight leg, more like trouser style, still wear sometimes, cause those and another pair equestrian jeans are black, the rest are blue 😜 Blazer and all suit with belted jacket looks nice. I might get it. And maxi denim skirt I already have. Shoes ah not so sure. Have a blessed day🙏❤️

I find flares so much easier to wear than straight or wide. They add some balance and curves to my more straight figure. Also, my flares aren’t as skinny in the thigh as my 90’s jeans in college. They are more relaxed. The flare at the bottom is still wider than a boot cut for sure, but the contrast of thigh to flare is gentler so looks more updated to me.

I wish you’d talk about thrifting and secondhand, especially as it relates to denim. Fashion is 100% cyclical, and let me tell you so much of what you are talking about is already out there and has been worn in the past. And in many cases the older items are much better quality, already perfectly aged and can be had for next to nothing. Denim is rampant at the thrift stores; I love buying it there in both the men’s and women’s sections.

I bought a Ralph Lauren denim pencil skirt on sale about 5 years ago for $29 and it's still my favourite denim garment so cost per wear is mere pennies. The new denim trends that caught my eye in your video are the belted barn jacket and the quilted denim jacket. The latter looks like something I'd wear around the house with my pj's or lounge wear every day. But I have so-o-o-o many denim jackets already.... do I really need another one?

When you are short, 5'1" , have a large chest but are slim everywhere else, wide leg jeans are big no. I can't wear something slimming on top to balance it out😔 I can wear straight leg and ones that are slim through the leg but have a slight flare❤

I just can’t accept high-water pants of any kind. I haven’t seen them flatter any body type yet. Maybe because I’m older. Back in the day it was embarrassing to be caught wearing high-water pants and you’d get ridiculed by many. They’re just not attractive in my opinion.

Not a fan of the wide legged jeans. Especially on shorter people with thicker thighs. If you're 5 seven or taller and slender it looks great.. if the thighs are more fitted and they are flared it looks more becoming . The full wide leg that are high water makes most girls look heavy. I hope this is a trend that goes out the back door real soon. I agree slim streets are the most becoming

Kick flares, cropped bootcuts - definitely not for me. I do like bootcuts and wide legs, but kickflares - I still think they look ridiculous.
