What a wealth of information you share in such a lovely and clear manner. You look stunning in all of your outfits but the fact that you show different body types makes your content more relevant. I have a closet full of gorgeous clothes that don't fit anymore and shoes I cannot walk in. Trying to style the current me has become a bit of a challenge. Would love to see something on stylish dress shoes that are suitable for people with large, wide, arthritic and so on feet. I find that heels make an outfit, but my feet are size eleven and it is brutal wearing my old heels.

What if you really don' t like wearing dresses/ skirts....I have "kankles" ( large ankles), but otherwise pretty small build.

If you don't like wearing dresses - or if you want to cover your ankles - you can wear floor length dresses, those that fall to the floor and cover the feet. Or, you can wear a pant suit in a very nice, soft, elegant fabric.

I have to attend a wedding during the summer and I wonder if you can give me some advice about fabrics. I have a dance to go to for new years eve. My dress is ankle length and I am wearing ballroom dancing shoes. I am totally confused about wearing hose, what color should I wear? I am concerned on looking dated. I know for years ladies weren't even wearing hose. Has that changed?

@@vintagegirl68 OMG, I missed that. Of course, you need to know now. Hose has never gone out of style. It depends on the type of hose and where and how it's been worn. First, what are you most comfortable with or without? If it's a warm climate and your dress is long you can go without. If you're in a cold climate you can wear hose if you want. Choose sheer as close to your skin tone as possible. You don't want the hose to look noticeable. If you feel more comfortable wearing hose period, again, choose sheer. Ballroom dancing shoes will require something inside (for comfort) as well if you choose not to wear hose. I hope this helps. Sounds like fun.

I really like that you want a woman to look like a woman and you want a woman to choose a style that flatters her. I'm getting paler as I age so I have been using sunless tanning (Jergens natural glow, light bronze). I find that I can wear black, but I often put a flattering color near my face.
