It's lovely to find new outfit combos using pieces already in our wardrobes, particularly when transitioning to a new season. Back in my dinosaur days, matching sets (suits) were the uniform of the office, so am unlikely to go there again, HOWEVER wearing them as separates offers up a wealth of styling combos. I would personally wear the jacket as a coat (am enjoying them these chilly winter days quite a sleek and elongating effect over slim or straight leg jeans/pants. 😊 A vest styling video would be wonderful. Loved this video! I’m ready for fall, so I love seeing the transitional outfits. You introduced me to Sezane, and I really want to try a piece. That ivory jacket is so cute! I’m glad you are showing and mentioning Quince😃 I discovered them last fall and have loved everything that I’ve tried. I’m planning to purchase some of their washable silk pieces soon. I'd love a video that helps put together monochrome outfits. With the Barbie pink trend this year, I have accumulated a lot of various shades of pink, rose, mauve, bright pink, etc and am having a hard time putting them together. I was struggling with varying shades of olives earlier this season, but have figured out to keep the yellow and blue undertoned olives in separate outfits. But with the pinks I am still struggling in how to put the colors together.

Jamie, that green silk blouse looks stunning on you! Also, I'm glad you mentioned Quince. I've been seeing a lot of their ads in my Instagram feed. I finally went on their website and looked at their linen clothes. They look to be a really good quality and the prices are definitely reasonable! I haven't seen any other influencers featuring their clothes and would love to see more! I've been jonesing for a couple of their pieces but I'm afraid I've already spent too much this season. 😢 Really enjoyed this video and the combos you put together! ❤

Perhaps it’s just me, but I almost never swap my purse to match/accessorize my outfits. Too much effort to do daily/weekly. Plus, I put my purse away at work and try not to carry it when possible. It is very hot here in N California until mid-October, so I’ll need to watch this again in a couple months.

Hi Jamie, do you find linen and linen blends difficult to iron? I recently bought a linen/viscose blend shirt and man was it hard to iron, do you have a secret?

Steam irons work well. Perhaps spray sizing.

I just use a steamer. It works great. Just know you will never fully get wrinkles out of linen or blends. This is a common characteristic of these materials. A steamer will help minimize the wrinkles but I would say just embrace them like I have had to. I don't like using starch or sizing spray but if you are good with it you could try that or a steam iron that was recommended.
