This has to be the most comprehensive and watchable guide of its kind I have ever seen. All of the bases from the most formal to the informal were covered in detail and thank you for also providing meaningful guidance on the trousers and footwear to go with each of these stunning outfits. This must surely be your longest presentation film to date and I can only imagine the time and effort that must have gone into its production. It was worth every minute.

I think I'm going with a very smart lounge suit for the afternoon, then switching to black tie at night. I want the perfect black tie ensemble but I'll respect the tradition of waiting until evening.

It catched my attention that you mentioned Morning Dress but not White Tie, in my country nightime weddings are the norm, for a long time people has worn regular Lounge Suits, just recently, in the last 5 or 10 years, people have started to adopt Black Tie for the groom's clothes.

If you have exhausted the grey options across the shades and cloths (flannels, fresco, tropical, twill etc) perhaps consider a pattern? Perhaps a glen check or tartan. In summer, opt for creams or ecru in linens or cottons.

Dutch:niet een pochet met een boutonniere zoals ik ook altijd zeg. Twee versieringen is een te veel. Zou kunnen als de pochet als zakdoek gebruikt werd 😂

Evening Wear Formal = White Tie Evening Wear Semi-formal = Black Tie Does morning dress have variations that allow for a separation into being a black or white tie day equivalent or is morning dress entirely its own thing that would satisfy both semi-formal and formal type events? I’ve heard that some view a stroller suit as the semi formal equivalent vs tail coats for a formal equivalent. What’s your take on this?

Interesting. Morning dress is too nuanced to spilt into a black or white tie equivalent.

Stroller Suit is the Semi Formal Daywear equivalent to Black Tie for the evening.

For the groom, a classic tailored suit in a light colour like beige or light grey would be perfect, paired with leather dress shoes or even stylish loafers for a more relaxed look. Don't forget to accessorise with a floral boutonniere or a chic pocket square. Enjoy the celebration!

Usually I wear waistcoat matching the pants with odd jacket or matching the jacket with odd pant but you make me love to wear it the odd piece of how you explain how it pops specially the buff colour and how the contrast pops out make change my usual aspect you really know what you do and get the know how keep on
