You mention ‘verbal written warning’ twice in your video. For the un-enlightened like me, what’s that? A verbal warning written down? If so, isn’t that the same as a written warning?

Thank you for this question. I realized now that it may be helpful if I expand on what exactly a verbal warning is. A verbal warning isn't just a verbally given reprimand. It is still a physical (or electronic) document similar to a written warning and a final written warning, but with a shorter validity period and commonly accepted as less severe. I often say verbal written warning to indicate that it is still written down and still a physical warning given. A verbal reprimand if often referred to as an informal reprimand or discussion. I hope this provides a bit of clarity.

With an LLB degree can you become an employment relations practioner?
@carmenfourie53462 жыл бұрын
Yes, with an LLB you can become an employment relations practitioner. I would, however, recommend potentially investing in additional mediation & negotiation skills (depending of course on how much of this was included in your degree) as well as some skills around the dynamics of the employment relations.

@@bonokuhlemthethwa9534 amazing! I'm sure you're gaining lots of experience and I've worked with individuals who work as employment relations practitioners who used to work as trade union officials.
