Really interesting to see how you cope with the realities of life. Great to see some more of Taco and how much he loves life (and the brush!) Take care!

Hey Robert! I'm glad you found it interesting, it's a little different to just getting home from work when it comes to living in a van! He LOVES the brush doesn't he, throws a strop if we're too late with it 🤣

good video both, nice to see the day today working van life 👍

Cheers John! Is it what you expected? Or a little different?
@johnpenney15474 ай бұрын
@@Thenomadpurr Sort of what I expected in places, and not in others, it's great what you do rather than the trend of living in a house or flat, respect to both of you for doing what you do 👍

Cheers Adz! It's such a strange lifestyle and amazing how much time it can take whilst trying to do 'normal' life! Hope you're keeping well :)

hats off to you guys, it is so hard, we lived in a caravan for 8 months with a small dog while waiting for our house to be built, winter sux!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and we were at least parked up at the same place that had a power hook up, water and toilets on site... it also had a dump station just a short drive away. so we didn't have to keep moving and could have our cars to go to work etc... BUT the chores!!! filing the water tank every day, emptying the loo every second day (and putting a toilet canister thing in your car in a black bag is just grose but it's amazing what you get used to)... trying to keep a tiny space clean and orderly at all times otherwise you go nuts... having to put up the front bed into a lounge every day.... doggo going out on a lead all the time cos no garden, just a tiny fenced off area outside the caravan. It's so hard, if we had to move every night too it would have been impossible with a caravan. We got so lucky having the place we had to park up. and did I mention winter sucked!!!! we also had a hurrican and an earthquake while in it so were pretty over it by the time we got out!! Good luck to you guys and I hope you reach your goals and get out of that van one day!!!

Hey Alex, thanks for the comment! It is tough isn't it! I imagine the caravan was even tougher as it's not a simple as just driving off to move is it? The site you were on sounds great though which is something! You're right though, Winter does suck 🤣 that's why after two winters in the UK, we're going to spend some time in Europe to hopefully make life a little easier :) You're right about the chores, they're super time consuming aren't they! An earthquake and a hurricane?! I hope your caravan stood up to both! Anyway, appreciate you tuning in and commenting, have a great evening!

@@Thenomadpurr Yeah the caravan is a whole deal to pack up and move and we had a 3 car problem too because we had to buy a truck to pull the caravan... it's been up for sale for the past year, I hate the darn thing 🤣 we're in New Zealand, hence the hurricane and earthquake, our English made caravan held up just fine to both!!! pretty amazing. Enjoy Europe!! I am SO jealous... .and can't wait to follow along on your videos!

@@alexandramcpherson4189 Oh you know the difficulty of the vehicle shuffling then!! Oh no way, we're going to spend a month in NZ in January exploring the south! Thank youuuu, not long now. We've been doing all the last prep to the van so we're almost ready to go!!
@alexandramcpherson41894 ай бұрын
@@Thenomadpurr my only recommendation is, skip the South and do the North 🤣 I am a little bit biased being a North Islander... I live in Taupo, beautiful spot. I've heard a few tourists say they wish they spent longer in the North Island, just because it's a bit more diverse than the South, the South is stunning but for some they've seen fairly similar before (especially Canadians say this...) But you'll have a fabulous time either way... the ferry is only a few hours to get to the North if you get bored in the South ;)
