We Finally Started Vanlife in France! Is it what we expected?

After nearly 3 years in the making, we have Finally quit our jobs to pursue our dream of traveling Europe in our campervan! First stop, Vanlife France. But what are our first impressions, is it what we expected?
Join us as we embark on our vanlife adventure in France, living off the grid in our cozy Mercedes Sprinter campervan conversion! As full-time travelers, we're excited to share our experiences with you, from the freedom of waking up in a new location every morning to the challenges of navigating foreign roads. Our Mainecoon cat, Taco, is loving the extra space to roam around, and we're enjoying the simplicity of tiny home living on wheels. But is vanlife in France everything we expected? Nothing nicer than fresh bread from a local boulangerie, not to mention the pastries 🙏🏽👍🏼👌🏼 Get up the mountains, Pass de petit St Bernard, and the monastery is fab. Although the cat might not appreciate that. Its where they breed St Bernard puppies.

We are getting very used to nice fresh bread nowadays, we still can’t believe how many boulangeries are around?! Ah that mountain pass does look incredible but we’re actually about 3 hours south of there now I believe. Like you say, I’m not sure Taco would be a fan either 😅😅 appreciate the suggestion though!

u can soften bread by running water over it and then warm in oven or microwave

Great start guys. Best baguette tip is buy fresh from the boulangerie, most villages have one. If you head to the Loire region, visit Blois, it's lovely. Looking forward to the next video

Really enjoying the journey. How long before you actually get the rods out? Also.... flick some water on the top of the baguette and warm in the oven/microwave (can't remember if you have either of those) for a few minutes and it will be super fresh and soft.

love france i would visit orador san glane near near poiters read up before you go ,bread they buy it 2or 3 times aday they bake early morning mid afternoon & about 5 0clock it soon goes stale no added preseratives.enjoy following your journey mor tips to follow,(jogalong)

just hold it under the tap, do not make it soaking wet just quick, then warm it up in your oven for a couple of minutes, e voila soft warm baguette
