Great video on the valiant lady. She’s a gorgeous ship and the atmosphere and the entertainment are excellent. I sailed on her in January 24 from San Juan, Puerto Rico. I thought the food was excellent throughout the cruise. Disappointed to see that your room service was not good. The breakfast room service was the best I’ve ever had on the many cruises I have enjoyed.

I did a Virgin Yoyages Curise in the beginning of 2023 and it was fun. I think of Virgin Yoyages as a carnival cruise but with a civilized crowd, respectable crew, free fine or specialty dining, free basic Wi-Fi (the only thing where I would spend extra is for KZbin videos otherwise it is fast enough for basic web browsing and social media. Heck I even made a video Skype call form it and it worked well), and most all no Kids. Overall it was fun and I recommend it for young party people into technology. The recommended restaurants are Gunbae (good food and you get to socialize with other people) Extra Virgin (best Italian food) Pink Avgave (best steak on the ship) The restaurants I don’t recommend are The wake (steak could have been better still good but not for my taste) Test kitchen (portion is too small maybe this could be a good thing) Razzle Dazzle (boring setup and food was so so. However the Bacon is really good)

My wife and I absolutely loved virgin voyages! My wife is a picky eater but I enjoyed everything I tried. We even did the room service and had no issues. You must have got them on a bad day or something.

I loved every morsel of food I had on Virgin..However it was the Scarlet Lady. All the reviews of the Wake are the same. For a steakhouse it does lack flavor ..but I wouldn't gobas far as saying I hated it or complaining to a server.

Great review. I’ve been on Scarlet Lady twice and have 3 more booked on Valiant. One upcoming in June. As I say to all reviewers; food is subjective. What I like you may hate n vice versa. Room service was amazing on both my sailings on Scarlet. I’m also curious as to how/why you had a Rockstar band, but didn’t stay in a Rockstar suite? Only visits up to the Rooftop. I only stay in Rockstar so hence my curiosity. Glad you enjoyed Virgin as much as I. 😎

I have been on VV three times, so far (planning my fourt now). My ship eats were GREAT every time I ordered. Sorry about yours. VV is the BEST!! The food was 🔥🔥 and the crew is the BEST!

We are cruising on resilent lady in December here in Australia for our honeymoon :) so excited :) our cabin doesn't have an A or Z it has an M. So you know what that stands for please?

9:00 is the main cup reusable plastic or disposable plastic? I think the paper lid on top makes sense though. You don't want open cups splashing around and reusable lids tend to be super hard to clean. It seems like they've done what they've can to make it a reasonable alternative!

Love VV. They will absolutely, gladly turn your bed into a couch every day, at your convenience. You jyst have to let your cabin attendants know, or request it via the tablet, or set it up as to be dine every day.

I enjoyed your review very much, I have a question about the dress code. I know That Virgin is a casual young vibe.. I will be on the transatlantic voyage from Miami to Barcelona but I’m confused about everybody in shorts. Is there a dressier code for older adults? Thanks for your input

Thanks so much! For the most part it’s casual on board. It would look out of place to dress fully formal, but smart casual for the evening is always a safe bet 😃

You should just dress like you feel comfortable in and you’re not gonna walk in a place in flip-flops majorly casual shorts and a tank top paying well not paying anything but for 80 or $90 dinner so just dress accordingly like if you ever been to Vegas maybe not I guess but if you have you know you can go to fancy restaurants dressed to & in the nines or be smart casual Vic in Ga

I went on Scarlet Lady, the food on that ship was pretty good. I didn't think the Italian restaurant was that great, the mexican restaurant and the wake were really good in my opinion.

That’s great feedback. I think they had some supply chain issues with the food itself. But it’s one of those things that can improve cruise by cruise

I'm disappointed you said the food is hit or miss. So many reviews I've watched and they say it's incredible. Hubby and I are on this same itin in April 2024 and very much looking forward to it. We have sailed various lines previously and am stoked to do Virgin.

I wouldn’t worry too much about food - it’s a matter of preference. I’m going there in April so I’m binge watching everything about that. Two ladies been on 15 different cruises said that food was the best here. Everybody else loved or liked it - this is first I’ve seen with bad experience about food. There were negative video about lost baggage and maintenance issues but nothing about food
