Nicole's character watches the men walk off with her daughter and mentions nothing about it. I believe that the daughter is the price that Bill has to pay for breaking his promise to keep his mouth shut. I think that's why Nicole's character was so upset when Bill told her what he had been up to - she knew the price for Bill telling her. She had to be part of it all from the beginning. As in, the lure to get Bill into the cult.

Kubrick in an interview discloses he was at a performance put on by a relative where he wasn't suppose to look, but he admits "I peaked".
