@DoronsAcademy4 жыл бұрын
Thank you, really appreciate it. Not next but I do have plans to make Egypt videos at some point in the future. As history is super complex I'm currently really into researching Greece. Want to get a better grip on that and then planning to expand.

James Burke noted BBC historian observed that all the underpinnings of the modern world most significantly Western Civilization find their origins in ancient Greece. Most significantly is "The Preeminence of the Individual" which is ultimately the source of Democracy and the reverence for the Arts and Sciences in society.

The estimated percentage of the population of ancient Athens who were "citizens" who could participate in its "democracy" varied from 10% to 20% (all male, of course). What about the "everyday life" of the other 80% ?

Great video but i would like to mention that the correct name is HELLAS - ΕΛΛΑΣ not Greece...
@DoronsAcademy4 жыл бұрын
We are definitely aware, just got to use the English terms for an English audience.
@kaidan41224 жыл бұрын
@@DoronsAcademy i used the English terms ... It's HELLAS. Greece came later when Romans conquered Hellas and used the name Greece. If you want to speak about ancient it's Hellas not Greece.

@Rose Vassiliou the video/graphics shows people with brown/light brown color. I was just curious if the content creator had a specific reason to do that.
