Healing doesn’t happen overnight. Just grateful that you guys can still take the time to share your experiences and memories of Elvis. Also, Dee Stanley was just a gold digger who wanted Elvis. She couldn’t get him, so took advantage of a distraught mourning widower, Vernon. The fact that she came out with that hideous and wicked lie about Elvis and his mom is simply devilish.

The song that breaks my heart is I Miss You And Wish You Were Here... In Elvis Week 2007 the 30th anniversary in the beginning of the Elvis Lives show there was a hologram of Elvis taken from his entrance on stage from Aloha concert...I was on the front row (it was in the FedEx Building) and it was so real that I actually reached up to shake his hand.. It was truly amazing and with the higher technology of today it would probably be unbelievable especially for those who never saw Elvis in person...As far as Dee Stanley is concerned Elvis couldn't stand her from day 1.. She knew that and that was her sleazy way of getting back at him.. I give Elvis so much credit for not letting that influence his feelings about his step brothers.. Elvis was one class act...Never be another like him in every way... Sorry this is so long but when it comes to talking about him I get totally carried away...Thank you Danny and Teresa for these wonderful videos and the way you care about your Elvis family.. Both of you are loved very much.. TCB/TLC...

I heard that Elvis proposed to Ann and wanted to marry her and wanted her back. I don’t know if it was after his honeymoon with Priscilla or after they split up but I heard often times how he wanted her back and proposed or said he wished it was her instead of Priscilla that he married. Ann talked about it in her book too. It‘s so interesting they married without a time span of 1 week. Ann Margret is a class act with a heart of gold, beauty and grace, kindness, amazing morals and so decent and fun and just so wonderful and empathetic. She is incredibly loyal and honest. She possessed all the traits Elvis wanted in his girl. They were soulmates and I will always believe that. Ann was Elvis‘s biggest romance, he never had that with any other woman. Ann was really special amongst all the women he had, not even Prissy can‘t compare to that and that‘s why she was jealous and flushed Ann‘s bracelet that she gifted Elvis with her own money down the toilet. She was incredibly jealous. At least Ann doesn’t live off of Elvis and respect and loves him to this day and she is insanely loyal to him. Ann‘s best friend said she never even talked about Elvis to her. It‘s clear Ann wants those special memories to be only between her and Elvis. I love her for that❤️
@lawrenceporeca86046 ай бұрын
I disagree....Ann Margaret and Elvis never would have lasted...and if they really wanted to marry they would have...I like Elvis can't say I loved him because I didn't know him personally...same with Priscilla...but cheating is not acceptable and will destroy any marriage...as far as Ann Margaret I'm not a fan..she was overly proactive and really didn't sign well.... Elvis was a human being not God...only Jesus Christ of Nazareth is perfect...we are all sinners....and idolizing is wrong.

Dee Stanley didn't even meet Elvis until his mother was already dead. She said that to make big bucks because Elvis didn't leave her or her boys anything in his will. Also when Elvis fired the MM he then started using her boys for security, and took both her sons AND her husband on tour with him, leaving her at home, a woman with no family. She felt that she had been done wrong by Elvis. She got 100,000 from the National Enquirer for saying that, plus whatever she got from the Geraldo show.

@judybritt62886 ай бұрын
While Elvis was in the service in Germany, Dee Stanley was living there as well. She was originally after Elvis. She invited him to come to her house for a "home cooked" Southern meal. Elvis wasn't interested in her; a newly divorced woman with 3 kids, and not very attractive. Out of politeness, he sent his dad instead. Unfortunately for Elvis, Dee saw an opportunity to get into the Presley family via Vernon. So she set her sights on Vernon as the second place prize. She was a gold digger who was bitter that Elvis wasn't interested in her. She never appreciated all the financial support Elvis gave her & her sons over the years while she and Vernon were married. Vernon didn't have money. It was Elvis who supported them - for 17 years (from 1960-1977). Though Elvis didn't like Dee, he tolerated her for his dad's sake when she married Vernon. I saw a bit of that Geraldo show, and she was a despicable, vindictive shrew who was purposely trying to damage Elvis' reputation. She knew she was lying. She wanted to hurt Elvis' image, as well as make money. She never had anything bad to say about Elvis while both Elvis & Vernon were alive. It was only after they died and were unable to dispute her lies or sue her, that she started besmirching Elvis' name. Vernon would not have tolerated her lying about Elvis, and she knew that. So, she waited until after Vernon died to start her campaign of lies. J.D. Stamp and a couple other guys who knew & worked with Elvis (I don't remember who they were), were on the show, too, and rebutted her stories and claims about Elvis. J. D. was furious and called her liar to her face. He was livid at the lies she told and called her out on every single lie. Elvis would have been very proud of how his friend, J.D., stood up for him and defended his reputation and character. Dee Stanley tried to turn something wonderful (Elvis' love for his mother) into something sordid & incestuous. It is very common for Southerners to be close to their parents, especially their mom. Elvis treasured and respected his mom. There is nothing abnormal or sordid about that. He also loved and respected his dad. Dee tried to twist the truth of facts. It was well known that as a child, Elvis was a sleep walker. It was said that even as an older child, he slept in the same bed with his mom - as a precaution to keep him safe in case he started to sleep walk during the night. Dee said he slept with his moma, but she did not mention the sleep walking problem he had as a child. She insinuated that they were "abnormally close", and "too affectionate". She would have known about Elvis' sleep walking and other details from Vernon. But she took every "fact" about Elvis that she could and tried to sully Elvis' reputation & character with lurid insinuations. She was a despicable, bitter woman who used people and did not appreciate what Elvis & Vernon did for her & her boys. She repaid Elvis' kindness and generosity with lies, deception and selfishness. In the end, Dee only proved what a generous, kind soul Elvis was to put up with that self-serving, lying witch for so many years. She was bitter she got no money from either Elvis or his father when they died. She didn't deserve a penny. She got way more from them than she ever deserved.

@@judybritt6288 Yeah, Brainiac, and you'll come up with similar delusions and bullsh_t about Natalie Wood who heard Gladys repeatedly try to get him to sit in her lap in front of Natalie when he was 22! He absolutely did commit incest with Gladys. There are too many accounts of it including Vernon's own. Elvis was seriously hung up and mentally disturbed when it came to women and sex and he and Gladys fit the profile for incest. Vernon was a beat and cheat and she turned to her son. He was pathetic in bed. There isn't a single female anywhere whose ever said he was good in bed. Not one out of hundreds, supposedly. Every one said the opposite. Cybil Shepherd had to teach him basic things at 37! It was all fake. Priscilla was a beard. So was Linda. So was Ann. So was Ginger. However, I remember the excitement surrounding his visit. My mother-in-law had the chance to attend the concert and she said it was a wonderful experience. I know this might be a lot to ask, but I am curious if Danny recalls anything at all about this particular night and if Elvis commented on his thoughts about performing here and if the fans, as well as others,, treated him well?
