I wonder if the Jurassic World writers had considered a plot featuring Titanoboa (which would be amazing!) but backtracked incase it seemed too reminiscent of the 90s film Anaconda (I think it’s a great film but I’ve heard a lot of people dislike it)….like we can assume similarly, why there was never too much focus on the Mosasaur despite its popularity among audiences, maybe they might have worried it would come across too much as rehashing Jaws (I know that’s a Great White Shark, but still….it’s a big, dangerous, aquatic…thingy 😂). It’s a shame really, cause I’d love a Jurassic film with a Titanoboa. Maybe, since experts believe it would have to rely on water to move due to its size and weight, it could fight the Mosasaur! Regular staff aren't allowed in these areas; only specialized behavior or veterinary staff are. Any place that houses animals needs isolation areas for one reason or another, but this is also another most likely but mundane explanation.

I much rather the implication that they set up in one of the early posters showing a raptor on top of one of the old jeeps with the park being constructed in the background. The idea that there could potentially be a wild vs domesticated dinosaur subplot was interesting. Really love your theory about both the Deinosuchus and the Titanoboa being kept in the restricted section of Jurassic World; it wouldn't surprise me if they had the dreaded Troodon there too. And considering InGen had a habit of creating dinosaurs without Hammond's knowledge, who knows what else they were keeping from the public, Mr. Masrani or Claire. Maybe more Hybrids like Stegoceratops or other species in confinement that will be on display later, I think they might keep some dinosaurs native to Nublar and Sorna in a restricted area and let them live there like they did in the 90s, but for sure some dinosaurs that don't they adapt or do not behave well and carnivores that cause damage or fatalities in their attractions definitely go there such as carnotaurus, allosaurus, dilophosaurus, monolophosaurus and ouranosaurus, in addition to the paddock raptor and indominus rex paddock there we also have Dr. Wu Secret Lab and the Hidden Adventure Complex, I think there we also have the remains of the 1993 Tyrannosaurus rex paddock, the north pier and according to Jurassic Park The Game Marine Facility It should be there too, I don't think I miss anything

I know the awnser: In Jurassic world evolution claire's sanctuary dlc, there is a part called nublar north and the restricted mode is in the north of isla nublar. Claire found 3 carnivores in the area of nublar north which is carnotaurus, baryonyx and albertosaurus. Nublar north has a lot of herbivores too, so the restricted mode doesnt have any hybrid or extremely dangerous dinos

Titanoboa was only mentioned in games that were not specific to the Jurassic franchise. Further to that in a logical manner, Titanoboa was not even part of the age of Dinosaurs. It came much later so it shouldn't be even included in Jurassic park. The most likely candidates to be kept in the restricted zones are Sarcosuchus and Dinosuchus who were both from the Dinosaur era which makes more sense.

I enjoy the theory of the Spinosaurus being a hybrid prototype (it makes sense and works very, very well with the Indominus Rex) but i don't think it *has* to be - it could easily just have been very fragmented DNA that they patched up with theropod-DNA they had on hand without *trying* to create a hybrid and just made it an accidental one. (Technically they're all dinosaur-frog hybrids anyway, i think the "hybrid"-label is more about intent than actual genetics)

Given how Titanoboa still has living descendants in the Modern day, I find it likely in the Jurassic park film universe they did bring back the extinct constrictor. Given Titanoboa is related to both modern day Boa constrictors and Anacondas Which both have at the moment have equal relation to Titanoboa and still carry those Ancient Genes that they shared with their ancestors that was scaled down due to climate change. The Modern Day Boa DNA would the most stable and compatible genes to fill in the Titanoboa genome without causing side effects, like how the T-rex inherited a trait from the Frog Dna that prevented it from seeing stationary movement unlike the real T-Rex. So in Other words, if Titanoboa was revived in the way I theorized above in JP, It would actually be more or less be a TRUELY resurrected Titanoboa that would in theory, act and behave in the same way it did 58-60 million years ago. ( Although it would have to be Strictly kept in an environment closely matching its original habitat, due to it not having traits from other animals like the JP dinosaurs do that allows them to survive in environments they otherwise would never had been able to.)

Deinoshucus is one of the bosses in The Lost World Jurassic Park Arcade, like other prehistoric reptiles of this franchise Deinoshucus is probably canon, and if blue can reproduce assexually maybe Deinoshucus can too, will be really cool see this species in the new Jurassic Movie that will be on Sorna Land, maybe pass in 1994 during the evacuation due Hurricane Clarissa and when the time comes maybe some staff are leave behind and the film starts, or during the alert and the evacuation some of these staff (our protagonists) stay to make a plan for release all the species from containment pen and enclosures all over the island, after doing that on their way to the dock they noticed that the last ferry has already left the dock, now they are trapped on this island and have to cooperate and manage how they will get way from this island, that are now full of free dinosaurs who are restructuring their hierarchy and food chain

@@rexygameplays1355 yeah I wasn’t a fan of the whole “dinosaur auction at the mansion” and then feeling like the indoraptor part was almost like a slasher horror movie with it chasing maisie. The fact that there was so much focus on blue also kinda had a negative impact on the movie for me. Like it was a cool backstory but don’t focus so much on this one dinosaur. And dominion wasn’t about dinosaurs, it was about locusts even though it’s supposed to be a dinosaur movie. And too much fan service bringing the old cast back. Like they’re great characters and actors but did we really need the last hurrah with all the characters together? Just my opinion on the last 2 movies. The rest are great (except the San Diego scene at end of lost world, they should’ve kept everything on the island like in the book)

I’m new to your second channel Twisted, so here’s a thought that IDK if you ever really thought of or talked about. If we recall to Jurassic Park Lost World, the crew on the cargo ship that was carrying the T Rex escaped from, caused lots of property damage. The question is, from all the damage that’s been caused by the T Rex, you’d think the government would try to ban any way of creating new Dinos to prevent more problems like this from happening again. What if, they’re secretly funding the whole thing? Given there are people who are running the operations, who’s to say there are investors who are associated with the government? As for why the government haven’t done anything to properly wipe out all the Dino’s, it could be to control the human population, and try to make the world a lot more easy to control. I believe the government passed the gene guard act sometime after 1993, basically stopping the cloning of dinosaurs, I dont know how, but by 2015, masrani global seem to have overturned it. Or that the government was in on it to fund new miltary dinos / soldiers. Like the indoraptor for example. PS. Welcome to the channel ;)

My first impression about the restricted section: that is just probably a free roaming section for the sauropod dinosaurs. My impression now: I never once thought about titanoboa being one of, if not, the only prehistoric reptile inhabiting the area. I remember when Jurassic Park Builder was available to play back then it had a titanoboa as part of the Glacier Park.

My brother and I each had a Chaos Effect toy from '98. Tanaconda and Compstegnathus. Ever since back then I've been waiting to see hybrid dinosaurs brought into it, so you bet I was hyped to see Indominus Rex. I really loved the Compstegnathus. Picture a dinosaur a bit smaller than a Stegosaurus, with a tree frog's projectile tongue, and the agility and voraciousness of Jurassic Park's Compsognathus. Having read the books, and many of Michael Crichton's other books, in my mind the dinosaurs were a danger, but the real danger was genetic engineering. So having a cloned child, or giant locusts weren't a departure from the series for me, they were an inevitable progression. I like the direction the fifth and sixth movies were going, they knew they couldn't just keep rehashing the first one (though the fourth kind of did) Hopefully they make some interesting and smart moves with the seventh movie.

You know, having worked as a behaviorist in animal shelters and zoos, I assumed it was sick or behaviorally challenged animals (those who were stressed or fractious, and were being worked with). There also are often areas where animals that are raising young or are pregnant/whelping can be kept separate from the general population. Regular staff aren't allowed in these areas; only specialized behavior or veterinary staff are. Any place that houses animals needs isolation areas for one reason or another. Since it's just a movie I'm sure they had something wild in mind, but in reality it would most likely have a much more mundane explanation.
