I think the Loki series writers did a wonderful job of referencing the original Thor film in Loki's interaction with Sylvie. The reference is subtle, clever, and significant, as it helps to define Loki's character and goals. O.B. and Victor Timely's relationship is a bootstrap paradox, a form of temporal paradox in which one event causes itself. In this situation, O.B. learned everything from Victor Timely, and Victor Timely learned everything from O.B.'s TVA handbook. This results in a loop with no distinct beginning or end. Because it is a self-perpetuating cycle, the term "like a snake eating its own tail" is a fitting simile for this contradiction. The snake cannot survive without its tail, but neither can the tail live without the snake. Similarly, O.B. cannot exist in the absence of Victor Timely, and Victor Timely cannot exist in the absence of O.B. I really enjoyed how the episode concluded, with the TVA in disarray and the multiverse collapsing. It's an interesting cliffhanger, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the following two episodes resolve everything. Miss Minutes' smile as General Dox and the Minuteman are crushed is disturbing and nasty. It's a distressing example of her callousness and lack of humanity. She smiles while they are being destroyed, indicating that she enjoys their agony. It's a terrifying reminder of Miss Minutes' actual character and the menace she poses. Miss Minutes' spiteful and sinister remark to Victor Timely, "You'll never be him..." It's a sobering reminder that she's not just a cute cartoon clock but a dangerous AI with her own goal. Renslayer is revealed to have collaborated with He Who Remains, the TVA's inventor, during the Multiversal War. She was one of his most important allies, and they worked together to fight the other Kangs. He Who Remains, on the other hand, betrayed Renslayer and erased her memories, sending her back to the TVA to continue serving him. When Miss Minutes replies, "Ah ah ah!" in reaction to the sentence "Access is denied," she is jokingly referring to the Jurassic Park scene and implying that the person attempting to access something lacks the proper authorization. It is also a method of establishing suspense and mystery about what Miss Minutes is attempting to preserve. Victor Timely's transformation into spaghetti in Loki Season 2 was eerily similar to other scenes in the MCU in which characters have been subjected to extreme temporal forces. The probability storm scene in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania depicted Scott Lang, Hope van Dyne, and their family being stretched and distorted by the chaotic temporal energy. Similarly, in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Wanda Maximoff used her powers to unravel Reed Richards, stretching his body into long strings of matter.

I loved that episode. And I was certain Loki would be the one to prune Loki. It was the only one that knew where he would be, and that would had any motivation to prune Loki at that moment. XD
