I absolutely love the design for Cities of Sigmar. Especially when they confirmed in the design interview that the units literally form a castle wall with the fusiliers being the walls, the ironweld the castle gate, and the major on Ogors being the castle towers. It embodies what I love about AoS being the interweaving of its aesthetics and gameplay with fun at the forefront

38:50 Recently made a top 10 GW sculpts list and although many mini's have moved around, the cavalier Marshal has stayed at nr1. This horse sculpt compared to any other horse/mount or whatever, is just leaps and bounds above the rest.

Aw, I was hoping to hear your thoughts on the warcry bands! I think they all nailed it this year. My favourite has to be the Beastflayers, because they really showed the cool things you could do with FEC, but they all knocked it out of the park for me. Close second would be the Fyreslayers warband. Amazing job at enriching the faction's vibe. I'm really hyped to see the future warcry bands.

Why does it feel like the Ork designs have gone backwards? The sculpts look way worse and lower res than the older stuff Megaboss and weirdnob shaman look better than all of these tbh, but the pig is phenomenal

i love the ossifector model and would put it in A tier myself... if it were sold as like an event or store anniversary variant boneshaper. because that model is just a boneshaper, in a different pose and healing a different unit, but still. a boneshaper. and many obr lists want to run two boneshapers, so a variant model would have been great. buy gw didn't have anything else to sell with or add to the new obr battletome, so this variant boneshaper sitting around unused in some sculptors files was dredged up to sell as a new unit when another infantry mortisan was the last thing the faction needed. So yeah, imo it gets bumped down a tier or two for that.

Some crazy takes here. Guess it’s all subjective. Wasn’t surprised by you miss ranking Ionus by two ranks due to your anti stormcast racism. But Zenestra not being S tier was weird to me. It’s such a perfect piece of evocative storytelling to me. The Gorewarden also to me is woo woo woo S all the way. I’m thinking of getting a bone ruff myself. I know you don’t like the Varghulf Courtier but I think it’s one of the creepiest models they’ve ever made. I love it.

Yeah, very much subjective and people relate alot of their picks due to lore reasons. If they like the character, they are gonna favour the model more. Most of gw stuff is done well so everyone has validity on their picks due to asthetic reasons. I think rob also is a bit of a memester. I dont take his picks seriously, just a bit of fun.
