I was a loner growing up. I enjoyed my alone time. My mother had to invite the few friends I had over in order for me to socialize outside of school. She and everyone else thought this was weird and all I thought was "my lego army could use a weapon of mass destruction". While everyone else was focused on sports and girlfriends I was putting around the outside tending to my small patch next to the garage that qualified to be my garden. Fast forward one and a half decades and the list of people I knew who were normal turned out to be as such. One guy turned into a MAJOR pothead who makes up ailments for himself in order to convince his mother to let him stay out of the working world. He's 26... His brother which was my closest friend has spend thousands of dollars on his parents money buying computers that he burns out on a yearly basis due the hardware running NON STOP. He's 23. Both jobless, both can't drive. Another of the guys I knew robbed a local 7/11 and got caught. One evolved into a true con-man. One threw herself into an oncoming train and NO ONE knew why. Only ONE of my friends actually turned out OK in life as he went on to dentistry. Then again, he was 'weird' like I was. I've lost touch with everyone else but that's probably for the better. In hind sight, I would be an outcast all over again. It has spared me the outcome of being like everyone else. I'm one class away from a degree in general horticulture while everyone else I knew that did their best to fit in has done just that, they've all stalled before they even started. But hey, at least they 'fit in'.

I remember I used to wear sunglasses like everyday when I started high school because I was really nervous that people would think I'm a nerd. I would wear them inside the school and walk around looking like a really bad undercover cop and that got people to notice me. Some of them thought I was blind or I was in a abusive relationship with someone and was hiding a black eye. One day I looked down at my shoe to tie it and my shades feel off and broke...when I looked up I saw one of biggest kids I've seen in my freshman year and I was scared shitless about what he might say or do. He said I look like I don't sleep enough and I look high. When I heard that it didn't really feel that bad and me and him kinda got along...but not friends. I stop wearing sunglasses but I started to style my hair into a greaser look.

My awkward phase was when I was 10. I know, I got it really young, but that's only because I hit puberty super early, when I was 8. Anyways, I thought I was the coolest. I had no idea that people would bully me or tease me about my videos I made at the time. I was living in a bubble. Anyways, so the things that made it awkward. I LOVED anime. Especially My Hero Academia. Yep, you know where this is going. I was a cringey mha kid. I also cosplayed too. I had my hair cut SUPER short, almost a buzz cut and I also liked My Little Pony, despite being a tomboy. Yeah, I was weird. My classmates and friends at the time didn't think it was cringey or anything, because they were too young to judge.They just kinda accepted it. Anyways, my classmates have found my KZbin videos from when I was 10 and I'm kinda getting teased about it now.. I mean, I would do the same thing, but it still kinda hurts, thinking about lighthearted, innocent 10 year old me, making "super cool" videos for fun, only to get teased and tormented about it in years to come. Anyway, that's it. I'm not really making this for people to read, just to vent, because I had a mental breakdown earlier today from people sending me my old videos and saying mean stuff. I couldn't help being a kid and wanting to try new things and find out who I was.
