I appreciate that this song hits you just as hard as it hits me. It's incredibly emotional. Travis Meadows wrote the song, Jake Owen first released it, and this of course is Home Frees cover. Both Travis and Jake released videos of this, and you can find them both on YT. I would suggest watching both of those, even if you don't react to them, they're well worth your time. I'm totally right with your emotional response to this song... they've done several that I have to take in small doses... Bring Him Home from Les Miserables, Go Rest High On That Mountain, and In The Blood. I absolutely love their ability to pluck your heart strings and still be so very good at comedy...20140308 Guilty Pleasures, Storytime with Tim Watch me whip/nae nae for instance; both are hysterical!
