@@pagelservices amd give them like an important task to complete, like weekly inventory, new, help keep uo with blades , string , something make them feel appreciated, give em motivation! I hated counting inventory, so I'd let my cooks do it. Just that one task , you'd think they were making 20 an hr, and only made $7.75 lol.

It’s because it’s not on their list. I go through the same thing. I’m in the same boat with being behind and to wet we have had so much rain I have 2 lawn crews and 1 landscape crew that run everyday 6 days a week

Yes put it on a general list whoever finishes 1st at end of day please check our property's lawn. If they take it upon their own and you see them mowing your company they are probably nervous they won't get mr Jones property done and you say damn guys go mow the money making property's we are behind on. It seems the list is your priority at a meeting mention geesh crew. You think we can remember to maintain our own property to keep our good image Intact. I enjoy your videos very much

I've always shied away from management or supervisory positions, because I'm an asshole. I feel if you have to continually hold someone's hand or coddle them, they're useless, may as well do it my damn self. I understand trying to be cool for the sake of keeping employees happy, but it seems they'll eventually start running over you. I have about 30 seconds worth of patience, lol. I know finding decent help is tough, but dumbasses aren't cheap, whether they're breaking shit, standing around with their thumbs up their asses, or pissing off customers. You have to do what you feel is best for the company as a whole.
