It’s just wild at this point the respect they give when talking about Judaism in contrast to the blatant disrespect they give when talking about Christianity, I don’t understand why they can’t grasp the idea of giving respect to both, I’m specifically talking about Erin and Carly they have done it a handful of times now to the point where I would really be interested in hearing their reasoning
@Drelelelel Жыл бұрын
Agree! It’s really strange that they do that

I am all for open discussions about any topic especially with opposing views, it’s what makes things interesting and how we learn from each other, it’s just the lack of respect that I find disappointing and a little hurtful to be honest, I actually really enjoy when they talk about Judaism because it’s interesting to learn about other ppls culture/religion just wish they would give the same respect to Christianity and all other of course.

I live in Colorado Springs and every year there is an annual fruit cake toss. My elementary school choir had a tradition of singing “ the ever lasting fruit cake “ every year for the Christmas concert… every year my dad eats atleast 3 fruit cakes at Christmas time, the only human I know to truly enjoy fruit cake. Everyone else is aware how bad it tastes. It wasn’t until this podcast I’m realizing fruit cake isn’t common 🤣

Industry secret: I worked at a major cable/internet company. Customer service reps aren’t authorized to give customers discounts only switch your services over to a new promo. Reps in the cancellation dept (aka Retention) ARE authorized to give discounts/deals to lower your bill in order to keep your business. That’s why when you say you’re cancelling you are able to get a lower price. The initial customer service rep isn’t gate keeping, the gate also keeps them out.

Weird thing to get mad at when this has always been a podcast based on them telling their opinions and point of view on things. If it’s not your sense of humor, maybe don’t watch or just look past it? Anyways, love the pod guys hail Satan 🤘🏽
@aza9721 Жыл бұрын
hi friend!! hope you are having a great day! I personally love listening to the pod because it's a group of open minded individuals, deep diving into certain topics! as a christian, even tho I don't agree with what their saying, I give them grace, I won't go shunning them and stop listening, because that's not what god would want me to do, and would not be christian like of me, the message is to be understanding and give love and grace. sure they might not have the same beliefs as me, but I can see how it can be upsetting to hear these conversations as typically we see them be very respectful of other religions, so being an open minded group who is openly respectful about other religions , it would be nice to hear them not talk negatively about christianity, as they wouldn't talk about negatively about islam, judaism, etc! but I don't think it should be a situation where christian's should tune out of the pod, instead I think we should think of it as a open platform but still respect all religions as they would the rest. hoping this could give an insight or opinion from someone's pov! god loves you sissy, if u ever have any questions feel free to message me! 🤍

Have you guys never heard of a chronic illness 😭 10:32 why the laughter 👀
@mollousha Жыл бұрын
It’s funny because it’s an unusual way to introduce a character in a book that has nothing to do with their illness
@devonrafanelli1006 Жыл бұрын
@@mollousha I understand why it may seem like that, but as someone who has read (and loved) the book, the plot actually DOES have a lot to do with her chronic illness - it’s an extremely accurate portrayal of having a chronic/invisible illness. It’s okay if you’ve never heard of a chronic illness and sure maybe it was jarring for them to read the description, but the reason why it mentions her chronic illness isn’t for a shock factor, it has to do with the character and the plot which is WHY it’s in the description…
@mollousha Жыл бұрын
@@devonrafanelli1006ohhhhhh okay thank you my bad. I assumed it wasn’t a serious/good book by the way they were talking about it. I thought it was supposed to be funny in the way that some hallmark movies are funny, if that makes sense?
