My mother Had 8 children. 20 to 10 years Then 10 years later, here comes me.the youngest sister Gail called me Jughead. My brother was 20 when I was born. One sister 19, another sister 17 then another brother 16. My last three sisters were 13, 12, and 10. Then 10 years go by and surprise. Yes, a protestant Irish family, born in Connecticut.

If you put just a little oil (avocado, olive, ect.) in your measuring spoon before putting sticky ingredients in it will slide right off the measuring spoon. I do this for honey and peanut butter a lot because I hate wasting ingredients but I also hate touching sticky things

Jen- when I was turning forty, I wasn't looking forward to it, so I went dancing the night before and the next morning, I couldn't straighten my left knee for a bit. I thought "oh no, here we go..." Lol 🤣🤣 But I am still alive and kicking here at 64. I loved turning 50 and being in my fifties! As they say, age is just a number and any age is what YOU make of it- not what society says it 'should be.' Try not to let age affect how you should live the rest of your life; your priorities and interests will change often and that's okay! I think you are doing so well at setting your priorities now! (BTW- the eggplants look delicious.) You are a beautiful and vibrant lady that is already so busy. Maybe think about big life changes when the twins are in school? Take time for yourself whenever you can. Sweet Blessings 💞💞

My prayers are with you. I turned 43 on the 21st and it was good. I'm currently in the middle of trying to be a single first time mom through surrogacy. I feel like I'm just getting to the point of knowing who I am and what I want. It is also a time I am finally being who I want to be and not what everyone in my life expects me to be for them. Your 40's is a time for you to come into yourself and not be apologetic about who you are and what you want. I pray you find that peace and your 40's are the best

Hi Jen! Burnt out? You think? Your videos are amazing, always!! I just want to say that. You’re an amazing mom & wife but I’m not surprised you’re tired. Having 4 small children, cooking & running a home is more than enough to send any person running for the hills!! If you need ‘you’ time , you need you time. Simple! I absolutely love your videos but I’d rather have a happy, healthy Jen. Viewers only see a snapshot of creators lives. You need to do what makes YOU happy. Sure I’ll be disappointed if you decide to quit KZbin but must do what makes you whole. You take care of yourself. Love & peace to you always ❤❤

I'm 36, approaching 37 next year, just a few years away from 40. I know how you feel. I have a mix of feelings about my age as well. I remember when I used to be the young generation, that has quickly changed. I look and feel differently. But inside I'm still a 12 year old girl, I still enjoy the same things, have the same fears as I did then. Age really is just a number I'm learning. What I'm looking forward to the most about aging is getting my time back after my children are grown, and gaining my new identity at that age. I still don't have it all together career wise, financially or anything... But I think that's ok. I'm still learning and growing. I've plenty of life left in me and I'll continue to live it so long as I have it. I love your content and family as well as the others. ❤ Looking forward to more after your much earned break. Should you decide to. Happy Holidays to your family! 🦃 🎄 🕎 🌟 🎉

I recently turned 40 and I decided I was only going to do what makes me happy. I slowed down work changed the way I view everything and if it didn't bring me joy I did not need it. This included objects and people. I have no more room for negativity and I now live with peace, love and joy. My kids and husband are happy and we live simply, to a budget so we didn't have to work as much. I find myself sitting and relaxing more and am grateful for all the little things. If you love doing you tube you should continue with it if it brings you joy, don't see it as a money making idea, life isn't about money it's about doing what you love and sharing your joy with others. I feel joy watching your videos so I continue to watch your videos weekly, other influencers trying to make millions don't interest me, real life, beautiful people living and loving is the kind of people I follow. 40 is just a number, but as it's seen as a midpoint in life you can review what you do and make changes to ensure a happy and healthy life xx

I would love to be 40 again- I am 66!!!! However, u will be starting perimenopause slowly. I would recommend taking magnesium bisglycinate and D3K2 liquid- out bodies needs these vitamins to function properly and those 2 in particular are helpful for any anxiety. Eat a variety of healthful foods like avocado- great for magnesium and potassium; greens, berries, nuts and seeds, beans- such as black beans; garlic and onions for the immune system, herbs.....Try to avoid a ton of caffeine- it depletes the adrenals and adds to anxiety. Maybe do a blend of caffeine and decaf. I brew some of my own coffee and I buy Starbuck's decaf house blend. Rest is important as well. Don't get caught up in a number. We are blessed to have birthdays, as it means we are still here and able to make a difference in the world- even our own small world. My kids are 40- soon to be 41 and 39. You have lived only half your life with so much more to enjoy. I understand that u need to take a break- esp if filming and editing cause u to be stressed. I hope to see u back when u r ready! It's a pretty good way to earn some money without leaving your home or kids. We never had such an option in the 80s! Have a wonderful Christmas!!!! Best Wishes, Andrea from B.C., Canada
