Just another dinner with the fam. We made kimchi jjim (Braised kimchi with pork) which is one of our go to because it just warms your soul and super easy to make. Kimchi jjim is similar to kimchi jjigae but less broth and slightly different seasonings. Also, whole uncut kimchi is used and you tear the kimchi and wrap the meat and/or rice with it. It's so good!

I love how each of you have your own rolling technique! Mom rolls it up, you fold it and Dad doesn't care as long as it gets in his mouth. 😂 And yes, my abuela could peel and slice apples like this too!!

As much as they love other foods, it’s when we eat what I call our family peasant food that it’s the best. We make a dish with meat and beans with rice and there’s nothing better.

I remember thinking how strange it was seeing Koreans use scissors to cut meat. This was years ago. Now, I can’t help thinking how practical it is. Much like steel chopsticks, its sustainability.

@@cherylmarquez2645 I noticed none of the food Grace prepares seem to be carb heavy or fattening. Maybe that is why they are all slim. In any case her food looks heavenly to indulge 😄😄

Hi again guys, Wonderful video, certainly better food than we have access to here in hospital (yes i am still stuck Here and not doing too good) …I’m mainly tube fed but when they do bring me a very smallAmount of solid food it’s absolutely horrific (Although) and you guys keep this on the low low now, because of your Mom, I’ve been having my visitors sneak me in kimchi and seaweed (and some other non Korean but equally delicious things) and it… helps, I mean the added ingredients are doing all the work but hey. What I wanted to ask though, can you do a full video on Korean army stew? I know quite a bit about world cuisines but have not tried that one yet and would love to know how to make it at home (see if I can get one of my cheffy friends to smuggle me some in) that would be amazing to watch. As always thanks for keeping my hopes up guys and your parents are wonderful, all the best to you, take care 🥰
