I’ve done anywhere from 2 to 4 dollars a day on my two new shops and it definitely has brought me in sales. I was worried no one would buy without sales or reviews, but that was not the case although once I got that first five star review on my third sale the sales started pouring in every single day.

I went thru $300 in 4 days on 2 shirt's I had to turn them off. They were loving the shirt's but not purchasing, I turned it off and they stared selling I don't understand it at all--any help would be Awesome!-April

I wonder if the ads were showing the shirt to the wrong audience. When you switched ads off, the shirt was shown to the correct audience using your title SEO? 🤔 Ads may not work for every shop. Just because a content creator suggests it doesn’t mean it’s right. I’ve watched content creators who don’t use ads (or use ads sparingly) and are successful in sales.

@@CarolCreates I agree, somethng odd was going on. I keep selling them both and their both pulled, I don't understand the ads at all lol like a shirt that isn't on ads I got charged an ad fee for it making a sale and it's not on my ads lol

Some of these mockups look like the chic is ready to make out, I don't wanna look at that when i'm choosing what I buy. But it works for alot of em they make bank off those mockups. I try to keep clean cut and friendly mockups-April

I'm one of the ppl who absolutely hates getting regular business emails. Offers or not. Two a year max or I'm unsubscribing. So I cant imagine sending an email a week to anyone. I have been working up to being comfortable with one a year lol. It just feels so invasive. But I like the idea of asking ppl how often they would feel comfortable receiving a marketing or update email. That would work for me.

If it adds value then no one hates getting it. I am signed up to a PT that sends emails every single day. But they are brilliant so they never feel like spam or intrusive despite the fact that they are really a sales pitch. It’s all about what you are sending out

​@@beckyreeve3583 I've received many emails with wonderful value but I still hate getting them when they are too frequent for what I can handle, irrespective of value or how it's presented. So I'd like to take that perspective into account when designing my email marketing, and only send what people have told me they want to receive. I admire your ability to handle daily marketing emails. I know that not everyone can though, so I wish to be respectful of that.

that depends on how intelligently your budget is being spent (and if it's being spent). Typically as long as you are doing the pruning you shouldn't have to adjust budget down...in the worst case you typically won't be spending all of the optimzied budget as traffic drops from q4

Whenever I turn on Etsy ads I get no buys as soon as I turn them off I'll have orders come in how is that?

I noticed the same, but then I just stuck with the ads (and adjusting the dials) and they started really working. It takes a week to two weeks after you increase the ad spend, which is really frustrating. My sales always initially tank after increasing the ad spend.

@@genevieve5217 I kept them on for a month 1 sale from them. I only have 77 sales, but then I turned them off and within a couple days I had another 3 sales. So I turned them back on and now it's crickets. I have it at 100/day (my Max) following ecomhannah's Etsy ad plan and checking the stats and dialing in the key words...IDK maybe my stuff just isnt good 😂...I put in for an audit from Brand creators...I'm a teacher about to move to an educational consultant role and really want to figure out whats wrong with my shop ..after seeing the stats video here, i think pricing is maybe my biggest sticking point.
