Love your reviews. Detailed analysis of the pros and cons of each vacuum delivered professionally gives us informed views before going out and making a purchase. You would never get this type of information from any sales clerk when asking them to compare what they sell in their stores - they're probably not even trained to do so. I am the sort of person who just want's to know the good , the bad and the ugly for any product I buy and don't hold any emotional attachment to a brand as many people do. Do you know if shark utilize the same duo clean technology in any of their lift away vacuums yet. Thanks again and keep up the great work.

Hi Marinko - as far as I know Shark do not have this dual brushroll approach in any of their lift away machines. I have heard the through the grapevine that Shark will have some new vacuum out soon but exactly what it is I don't know.

Marinko Jezabek its avaliable now but i saw it in the UK. it might be avaliable in the us if you live here soon. search it up on youtube, and you should find it

It looks like they have just released this in the US. I have seen the Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away with DuoClean Technology on the SharkClean site.
@blackice74087 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the info Mr. Advisor. I saw this on ibasiac's channel, and I actually wasn't surprised that shark transformed their duo-clean technology into an upright form. I new they would do it eventually. But one thing I can see about this vacuum cleaner that is kind of interesting, is the construction of the cleaner is exactly the same as the previous rotator powered lift-away. A new Vacuum cleaner I've seen just a couple of months ago on QVC, is the navigator powered lift-away DLX 3-in-1. I don't know what you're next video will be one, but I've just given you another idea (unless you've already heard of this cleaner already. By the demonstrations I've seen, I'm guessing that the suction on the navigator powered lift-away DLX is more powerful than the dyson ball animal). Anyways, thanks for the updated information. Much appreciated.

Sir. I watched both of your videos what you dislike and this video. I thank you for your honest and unbiased opinion and brought up some good and valuable information about the vacuum. I have mostly had upright vacuums in the past never had a stick vacuum however this to me seems like a good option the only thing that is making me reconsider is it won't stand up on its own. So if you have to stop you either have to make sure it's near a wall or something. However after watching both of your videos I do not have to look for more. Really you shared some good and not good things I would not have known about until I made my purchase. I am still considering this vacuum. But will keep looking. Thank you so much appreciated

Great to find actual vacuum reviews rather than top ten lists on youtube. Great stuff, subscribed!. It would be a great help if you gave a score out of ten at the end. Could you review the Gtech Air ram mk11. Its the highest rated cordless in the UK.
@VacuumAdvisor7 жыл бұрын
Hey Alex. Glad you like the reviews. We have scores out of 100 for all the vacuums on our website - but these are averages of consumer ratings. I know the Gtech AirRam Mk2 - if I get hold of one I will look into a review.
@alexfisher89367 жыл бұрын
I know, I checked out your website. I think you should give a vacuum advisor rating too. Nice to see what an in depth reviewer scores the vacuum. Also, I'm torn over the shark nv68o true pet and the dyson v8 absolute. I have a big house and pets with all laminated flooring downstairs and all carpet upstairs. Performance or practicality. Any thoughts?
@VacuumAdvisor7 жыл бұрын
Well, off the top of my head the V8 may not be the best machine for a big house with several floors. I think a larger, corded machine could be a better fit.

I have the Shark Rocket HV320 series. I love it. However, I wish I knew how to get the micro attachments to work with the vacuum. I have been unable to find anyway that makes sense to get it to work. Any suggestions?

I know I am commenting a few year later, but when you access the top roller, there is an orange tool to take the hair and debris off the roller.

It looks just as effective as a bulky vacuum, but the rating for hardwood floors is D (best is A, worst is F). So confusing! How is that possible? What do you think?
@VacuumAdvisor7 жыл бұрын
The vacuum does not have ability to turn the brushroll off. It has slow mode and fast mode but not off. Perhaps the inability to turn it off when vacuuming delicate hardwood flooring is why someone rated it a D. We tested it on tile and have no "scratching" concerns. It is common to turn a brushroll off for some bare floors. The brushroll is also rather stiff.
@kittendivine17 жыл бұрын
Ok. The rating is an official one by the way and it has to do with how much dirt it sucks up in one go.

With the spinning brush roll not having any height adjustment or the ability to switch it off, what about possible scratching over time on wood laminate floors?.
@VacuumAdvisor6 жыл бұрын
Hey Joe. That's a good point. This is obviously not an issue with the front soft brushroll but for the main brushroll, depending on the flooring, I suppose it could be an issue. We have tile so we have not found that the DuoClean technology results in any scratching. I have read a lot of owner reviews for these DuoClean Technology vacuums and have yet to run into folks highlighting floor scratching - but that doesn't mean it has not occurred.
@joepineapples77746 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Also wondered about the two sets of wheels, the larger (side) ones and the smaller underneath ones and if they were both rubber edged,
@VacuumAdvisor6 жыл бұрын
The large wheels have a rubber strip running down the center (the part that would be most in contact with the floor). The small wheels under the cleaner head are a very hard rubber (I can indent them with a fingernail but not much).
@joepineapples77746 жыл бұрын
Thanks for that. Useful info indeed.

Have you had chance to look at the DuoClean Cordless Cleaner (with Flexology) IF250UKT yet?. Only reviews I can find so far are more like adverts for it. I want the real nitty gritty for that sort of money :)

Buyer beware! This vacuum is not all it's cracked up to be. After using it around 8 times it will not work like it did originally. Yes, I cleaned the filter. You'll think your getting up tons of dirt but what you're actually getting is carpet fibers eaten up. Suction sucks. Or should I say doesn't. Maneuvering this vacuum and all the tools is more of a hassle than it's worth. On bare floors it only moves stuff around. Un less of course you go over and over and over what you're trying to pick up. If you want you floors really clean with less back pain stick to a hover. They will not disappoint like this one will. I have owned a maintenance business for 42 years. I promise I'm not making this up. You may spend more on a hover but it will work and last you years longer.
