loved the video...even with the peacocks... they are lovely birds viewed from afar and through a video screen 😁 I love watching travel videos that highlight all the fantastic places they ate... good food is a high priority for me too. that is the #1 thing I research (after a place to stay) when I go somewhere. I would love to do a food tour!

Our next stop on our trip doesn't have many food options 😬😬😬. But, we see it as a good 2.5-week reset after 6+ weeks of really amazing meals. Heck yessss to doing a food tour too!

Around the university of Lisbon, there are a lot of peacocks. The students feed them and share the outside space with them. Lovely birds!

@@WanderingAimfully I think you'll like Aveiro. It's a small city with good places to eat and next to the coastline. You can visit the Vista Alegre Museum (porcelain art) and Costa Nova, where you can find striped- colored houses :)

If you do nothing but walk around and eat the wonderful food, you will have a great time in Lisbon! I loved Lisbon with the exception of the graffetti on nearly every building! Sampling as much Port as you can is wonderful!

loved the video , and if u come to Portugal again, Pena Palace in Sintra(city next to Lisbon), Porto and the douro valley, the region of Algarve and the region of Alentejo are a must (and also try the fish and the seafood 😜)

Ohhh heeyyyy! So glad you enjoyed our video 🥰. We're flying, training, ferrying, and some rental car'ing. With Caroline's flight anxiety, we're only trying to do direct flights as we move to new countries (that's a big part of how we choose our next stops). Luckily, Europe is VERY WELL connected, so there are usually a good amount of options. We just did our first train travel and it was super easy!

Sadly, your loss, amigos, for not taking the tram. The electricos are a unique Lisbon experience and well worth the price. And they're called electricos. How cool is that? Your Portuguese pronounciation is remarkably good, especially for Americans, so cheers to that. Drives me nuts to hear Mericanos call it Castle San Horhay or Praka del Commercial. And the coffee in Portugal is on another level. Still Portugal's best kept secret. Even out of a vending machine, the espresso is the best in Europe.

Great question! I believe it was just the Private Food Wine Tour 👍. You can also email them and they are VERY responsive and helpful! We requested a tour with more food and less history 🤣 (but still got plenty of history on our walk!)

Hi Rebecca 👋. We always include the links to the Airbnbs we find in the description! We've found that most Airbnbs fluctuate greatly in price throughout different times of the year and dependent on demand in that city. If we share the price we paid at the time we stayed, it might be wildly different which could be misleading. Hope that makes sense? 🤗 As far as restaurant prices go, we'll think about adding that! There's also a bit of context there too as we might order very differently from other folks. But, maybe we could throw the price on screen of the exact dish we're showing? 😉

Yes, I understand the logic of cost for different airbnbs and at different times and seasons fluctuate, but it is still always interesting to hear how much your places cost. It gives one an idea and feel of things, even if they do change.
