As someone who was Born into the Christian world and Church, and spent the past decades of my life trying to find contentment and peace within myself and my relationship with the GOD I was so much aware of. The journey took me on a path through a number of Religious beliefs and their established Religious Organizations including " MessianicJudaism" , That all fulfilling Religious utopian dream of the Messianic heaven and eternal spiritual life with him in his heaven; but with no lasting influence on my deep feelings of disconnection from G-D and my continuing loneliness. I finally thought of trying the possibility of converting and joining the Hebrew Community, and then during my search for the way in, I discovered the Noahide way of life , and what it takes to be connected to GOD, THE ONE AND ONLY GOD of Creation. I have been living a life of complete peace and joy in my relationship with G-D as a confident and faithful adherent and advocate of and for the Noahide way of life that I try to live by on a hourly level and daily basis , Instead of practicing a Religious belief system I have no calling to, or adherent to as a Gentile / Goyim. G-D'S perfect peace and Blessings to you Rabbi.

I have been on a spiritual journey for years. I also grew up in a church, but it seemed as though something was out of sorts. I've studied about other religions such as Taoism, Buddhism, Islam,etc... and nothing seemed to be what I was seeking after. I love to go to a local Native American State Park and walk the trails through the woods. I would often pray to The Creator as I walked and there was something that seemed right about it. I've never felt so close to GOD as I do now. I've discovered the Noahide Laws recently and they give me the freedom to worship GOD without religious dogma . The universe(s) were created by something, and it wasn't me or you!.... and creation is so complex and detailed, almost like a machine, that it didn't happen by chance. God, The Creator, created all that exists and I am only fulfilled when I have a relationship with GOD.

I is so satisfying having and acknowledging A " THE GOD " That is all unto HIMSELF that ONE AND ONLY GOD who is the Creator of all and everything we come in contact with, even those things we know deeply inside that we should avoid or shun with all our might and will. GOD in giving us Humanbeign the wonderful gift of FREEWILL, also lovingly provides the means of our exercising the GIFT by allowing us to face circumstances and conditions that needs our decisions one way or another ever so often . Hmm. I had a stroke, which put me in solitary confinement, even though I could go anywhere, and do anything, I could not transfer information from one side of my brain to the other side. It destroyed all my relationships, but one. The most important relationship there is. I learned His Name. Yah is what I call Him. As in Hallel -u-Yah. He accepts it, and He began to talk to me. He told me about His Torah, and most of the prophets. He reminds me of His introducing to me as a child, and how I was wary of other people's motives. It is like He has been by my side the whole time, patiently, and lovingly. I cannot hardly hear a sermon because they call Him by Greek names, which He hates. He wakes me up in the early hours and I love to be there with Him. I never really had a lot of success with people. That is my hardest hurdle. I have been alone, but not lonely. It is most difficult to relate to people, But I tell most everybody that I love them. It is true, that I do love most people, but some, I just stay silent. They seem to be violent, which I could become that, but I generally don't allow myself to be violent. It is the way of the nephillum, among other evils. Yes, I have a sin nature, and need Yeshua's blood to cover me. He is our big brother, and Wisdom, who made all things His Father created. Peace and love to all your dwellings. Oh, and I rarely attend church. They do not read their bibles.I used to have the preacher read for me, and it is a great poverty to do so. I am no scholar, so I do what I can. It is not too difficult . His yoke is easy, and His burden is light. His path is narrow. His way is laughter, that is Isaac. He likes when I say that. Joy for strength. I once heard a man say joy is ten times better than happiness which is counterfeit joy. The world seeks happiness. A brother to luck .

@@aycaramba3553 I agree. Rabbi Friedman has a long history of denying people of any needs. He even thinks sexually abusing children is no big deal-it doesn't hurt them and they shouldn't make a big deal about it. He got publicly called out and almost sued, so of course he backtracked so he wouldn't lose his standing, but he's still teaching the same "you need nothing, don't dare ever talk about your problems, your job is to constantly serve others like me" schtick. If the haredi community wasn't so insular, this guy would have been put in a back room somewhere. Look at all the people who marvel at his "wisdom", which, as you say, has no basis in Torah. Dangerous cult stuff.

Had a back breaking weekend, everything in me shouldve been burned out. Imstead of working for someone, for bills...I woke up today, i was needed to do todays work. I got through it because i was needed. Im tired, but it was worth being needed to do what i do for G-D. When I'm tired, i just say I'm tired, not i need sleep. I'm hungry, i say I'm hungry, not i need food. Most interesting because i wanted lemonade....so kinda joking in the middle of the night i said I want lemonade. 4 hours later i realized it came to fruition I was sipping on Mango Yuzo charged lemonade 😂 Its hard to quit the habit that I need, but its so refreshing.

Yes, that's just what Rabbi Manis wants, burned out people too tired to realize they need anything until its too late. He can't stand that humans do have needs, HaShem made us that way. But he has no compassion, no love for people, so he teaches "you don't have needs", and "G-d is the needy one". No Torah basis for any of this-this is new age pagan stuff.

Rabbi, you made the simplicity of being so profound ; and your gift of expressing is nothing short of giggles ..How often did your listening audience giggle during this message?! Such joy! I giggle as I reminisced my own daughter questioning the very things you mentioned. She wanted to know why about everything until she finally forced me to say "because." Why? Because I run out unsatisfactory answers to her "whys" about life. Still never satisfied with "because" she never stop asking the whys. She is quite the yearner and seeker now ; still today wonders why she is on earth. Children always have been my best teachers. Their depth of curiousness is profound. Thank you thank you thank you I 'love' (use this 'love' word loosely) your message today. Very liberating! Is not a Mother all about 'other'? GOD NEEDS! I SERVE HIM! with JOY! @yvonnerahui8729 Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I may have poorly stated what I meant by "new way." As the ancient perception of God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow forever. How I meant it to say is "new Way" from what I was taught in Christianity (doctrine). There are thousands of denominational (doctrines) in Christianity religion. Each doctrine or belief varies in each denomination. Most don't teach much from the "old testament." It doesn't apply "they " say. We are new testament christians they teach. Over the years of study & research and visiting various denominations is how may Christianity be understood without a knowledge of the Torah and other books in OT.

This teaching, in my own view, is in line with the passage of the Bible that says; "seek yeh the kingdom of God first and all other things shall be added unto it". Most of the problems human are facing today is as a result of the neglect of this simple principle. We are so desperate to get all other things even if it amount to kill another. Just imagine a society where everyone is busy thinking about how to fix the needs of another person instead of their personal needs. And with the desire to build themselves with the same understanding, I believe world will be better than what we have now.
@benhurn8277
@benhurn8277 9 ай бұрын
We can't "fix" anyone's needs, at all. Yes, the kingdom of G-d comes first, and that means time studying His Word, which tells us how to live, and tells us we NEED Him to accomplish anything at all. This "you have no needs", and that "G-d is the needy one" is not related to scripture at all. And you are no use to anyone if you don't spend time with your primary need: prayer, meditation in the Word, and seeking what G-d's will is for us. He made us to have needs, so we would learn that we need HIM, for every breath, for our sustenance, for the health of our mind/soul/body.

@@benhurn8277But what would give HaShem G-d reasons for creating His creation? Surely He felt/ feels/ will feel some need, or there would be no incentive for His actions. He created us with needs so we could relate to HIS needs.
@benhurn8277
@benhurn8277 8 ай бұрын
@@qkcmnt1242 Interesting point of view. Yet to create us doesn't necessarily mean he needed us, just as a couple creating a baby doesn't mean they need the baby. Normal humans, who haven't been corrupted, like to have a child to have another one to love, to give to. HaShem loves to give, so perhaps He created us to have someone to give to. And we have to learn that we need what He gives, and that what He gives is always what is best for us. And He also teaches us to be giving, too...."love HaShem with all your heart, mind and strength" and "love your neighbor as yourself." Giving is loving, loving is giving.

Describe God? God said to Abraham your people will be as many as the stars in the night sky. As you are aware, Rabbi, God is Love, unconditional love of Humanity.

This is a response to a different presentation by Rabbi Friedman, which I no longer can retrieve. He addressed the issue why Jews reject Christianity. On this topic, with all due respect, I do not share the negative evaluation the Rabbi received. I noticed that Rabbi Friedman had the Shema in Deuteronomy 6:4 in mind, rejecting the Christian doctrine of the Trinity. Even for us Christians the Trinitarian doctrine has historically been problamatic. In conversations and bible studies, the Trinitarian concept proves unsettling. Rabbi Friedman, I appreciated your clarification. Thank you. Reading the Christian New Testament back into the Tanakh (Old Testament) is distorting God's word.

i was with my gf, before my spiritual journey, and i sensed a spirit above me... she asked if she could come down... i said that could be interesting, sure why not... just then i heard the voice of my (later) teacher booming within and without me, based at the medulla oblongata of my brain say 'don't do it'... startled, i replied 'um, ok'... this was an intervention by my teacher because this was the wrong person for me... i said all that to say this... yes we 'do' want to be born... the whole premise for your analogies are wrong, we yearn to be born edit add: it also answers the question of when the soul enters the body... at conception...

If one is perfect, like God, then you don’t want to be alone. It’s imperfection that makes us want to be alone.

Alone and loneliness are two different things . I’ve been alone a lot, lonely too. Then I found out… I don’t know how old you are. I’m fifty three. I’m very very very pleased with what lately seems to be open and loving communication, instead it of fighting blaming name calling. It wasn’t this way in during the last century, obviously. A lot changes of attitude lately, and all very good, as far as I can see. I’ve always looked at myself as a sort of a zero. A classic under achievers, but t willing to serve, and work. He’s the One. Keeping Him before yours truly, I wouldn’t say it’s easy, but right, correct. I d say if One is perfect like G-d { and no one is} then you really can’t be alone, at least not for long. Any way, I don’t want to say too much and be a noodge . All peace and joy to you. Have a great One; Well Done, but slightly under❤️‍🔥☠️❤️‍🔥

I don't think perfection nor imperfection have a THING to do with the desire NOT to be alone, to have company. Sometimes I WANT to be alone so I can think 🤔, muse about facts, and reorganize thought I have yet to see. I am perfectly imperfect. Other times I CRAVE being in others' company. Dare I say HaShem is imperfectly perfect? For according to Rabbi Manis, HaShem had the need for us before HaShem created us. Surely a perfectly perfect G-d would have no needs whatsoever. How do we KNOW He had or has needs? Maybe it was pure boredom 😕 that led to our being created.

Great message. In regards to existing in this world. I get it we need nothing. Its up to God to provide. Awesome willing to experience it. So why then if He is looking for cooperation why does it seem that the things to exist in this world are all left to own devices .? God or religion always says trust me. Trust is a 2 way street an over rated street. Maybe make a video where you can explain we need nothing but yet we have things that need to get paid in order to exist in this world. Show that God has provided without our actual participation only our willingness to reveal him. I think we be willing to give up the attachment to things if the things were provided. If asked how we did it our only answer would be not me it was GOD. Looking forward to response

You speak of bad design. I have seen this for years, but have accepted the fact that the defects of all creation are as a result of sin committed by Adam in the Garden of Eden. The continuous defects of sin must be overcome. I also learned God said his work on this earth was good, not perfect as he had to design this around existing, at that time unforgivable sin. I am looking for your thoughts on this. I am so impressed with your presentation, so much that I have done what Christians do not do to Rabbis, and have subscribed to increase my knowledge of the divine. I look forward to your future teachings. By the way I am a gentile by birth, a Canadian of Scottish heritage. God Bless.
