I love you is not selfish. It’s showing a person‘s feelings within and it makes the one saying those three words and opening up so very, very vulnerable. That’s why it is so difficult to say, as it is so very intimate. Forgive me, but the way you talk about love sounds as if you have never loved. Love is so powerful it makes someone become a better person. Because you love someone you can sacrifice and be devoted and faithful and true and it’s being easy. Love makes you do things that take effort or are uncomfortable. Love makes you put the needs of your better half above your own. You care for someone because you love him. You don’t care if you don’t love. You might even do requires things, but you act them out heartlessly. Love makes you overcome fear. Love makes you have children. Why do we have children? Considering the process of birth when there are still women dying? Only because we love. And suddenly the wish to have children with the one we love is there and you do it. Love is the greatest force and power and makes us do heroic deeds. Love changes us to become a better human being. Wishing you all the blessings in the world! Have a good day! 🙏

Thank you so much for your words from which I learn big things. I'd rather thank God for you. Still remain two clarifications by which I'd like to comment: 1. God did not create evil. Evil is we refusing Him in our life. Like darkness is the absence of light. 2. There was no problem with God being alone. But since He is, by definition, love (that's, by the way, the triune God), He wanted to share His love, or rather Himself.

The word love has been mistaken with romance....it is what we GIVE, not what we get. Love is kind, patient, doesn't demand its own way, isn't rude, isn't petulant, love believes the best of others, it covers over mistakes, it never fails, it endures under anything and everything that comes, believes all things, it gives without counting the cost. The key is to marry someone you really LIKE, your best friend who has the same beliefs, ideas and passions as you, so that you agree on all the important issues. Never agree with something you don't agree with, so marry the person you most agree with and will both be content because thee will be little Conflict.

Yes i have also noticed that some of the scariest three words in the world is "I Love You." It makes men run because they know what the other person loves is not always there. Like this rabbi says, " I love you" is almost a threat as it is in a way selfish and conditional... and it not being unconditional gives the other person a very rational fear of being unworthy. Why not be afraid of this... it is proven; many marriages that begin with "I love you" end in divorce once all the facets and darkness of the other person is revealed. He is right about the will of giving profusely without the motivation of need or condition. It is the only thing that brings peace, energy, and creativity - Life! - and so it seems to be God's Will. That is why i am so conflicted about what is happening with Israel. Much of what i see is the opposite of what i know to be Good, and i will not be fooled to ever think otherwise regardless of whatever human authority tells me. Good has already been proven to me when God gives me the only thing i can ever truly seek as a living thing: peace and the ability to walk in the spirit rather than be weak in the flesh. Edit: Being loved is not a necessity maybe... but being able to Love IS. The rabbi was basically saying this (perhaps because one is forced to acknowledfe what is provably true), but it seemed to me as though he was trying not to admit it. Interesting. I dont mean to accuse, but that is how it seemed after i watched to the end. Is it because Love being the only salvation is explicitly a Christian doctrine that he feels a need to dispute? To 1) be willing to give all of you 2) use time and energy to create a home worth living in 3) make "I" more flexible IS to Love! Do not get caught up in semantics, the word "love" need not refer to romantic passion or a mere feeling of pleasure - in fact its truest form in the salvation sense is maybe the opposite of those things. Dying on a cross is not a pleasurable thing, but the truest act of love.

Hashem is so Loving. He brought me to your teachings. 1976 or so My download was bright and always upwards. Teaching the sun fire and star are not my Creator. Let us not worship creation...Let us not be consumed by the things of the WORLD. This is where All Your hearts need to examine. Mans blood saves and the bull offering is thrown out. This is all true. THIS IS FAILURE. I need the caps to see the whole truth.

@---Rabbi_Manis_Friedman I apologize for the sarcasm. You kindly asked me to get in touch and this is love! My real dilemma is if the souls in Heaven all want to come back, why when sent back in a body they don't want to come? I would be grateful if you can please redirect me to a where I can find the answer. I also struggle with the atrocities. Are they committed bu souls? PS I don''t have a Jewish soul.

Our Rabbi forgot the 4th thing: To speak the Truth -even if the other side doesn’t want to hear it. Speaking it with sensitivity, with respect and with empathy, but saying it. We all know that in "Pop Judaism" Truth has a very secondary role -but as a Rabbi, you will certainly reconsider that. Won't you Rabbi.
