Deep in the heart of Africa is a need. Many needs, truthfully. But a major one is basic medical care in the remote villages outside Lodja in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Paul Law has been travelling back and forth from the USA to the Congo over the last 2 years doing all he can to support and attend to the health of the children and families of those small villages. Soon he will be moving there to serve their needs full time!
Moto Photo’s mission is to help raise awareness and funds to aid Paul in his endeavor to provide a full time medical mission to the region. We will be travelling to Congo in January 2025 to bring much needed medical supplies, updated computers, and modern equipment they need. We will also be donating our time and our talent to help promote his work in the Sankuru region. Through our lenses, we will showcase the struggles of getting to these remote villages, obtaining vaccines and medicines, let alone caring for the people once he gets there. We will be traveling with him, living as the locals do, eating as they do, and enduring what they go through. In the process, we will create beautiful images and promotional videos that Paul can use in getting the word out to his supporters, helping him raise the much needed funds to carry on his mission of bringing better healthcare to the families and children of these remote communities. Our hope is to also create a full length documentary about the amazing work he's doing so the world can see it first hand!
Please help us raise the funds to purchase the necessary equipment and medical supplies, so that we can support Paul and all the struggling people of the Sankuru region. Our goal is $15,000. EVERYTHING we raise will be going to this mission trip. Your donation is going directly to www.sankuru.org, which is a 501c3 non-profit. So it's also a write off for you. If we exceed our goal, every additional penny goes to helping Paul continue his mission by covering future expenses, vaccines, and supplies. Your dollars WILL MATTER!!

Hey Chris...knew your parents when we were in Kinshasa serving with MAF. Of course we have known Dr Paul since he was about 4 yrs old & worked with his parents, David & Leveda at Lodja in the early 80s as well as Paul & Marty Law. My husband, Paul Rule, has been to Lodja the last 2 years in March to do the annual on P Law's airplane so we are also in touch with Dr Paul. Praying for your trip to Congo in January.❤

Hi Marco! Although we didn't speak Swahili in Congo (Kinshasa), my wife and I did a mission trip to Tanzania in 2011. So I can say "asante sana" without even having to look it up in Google Translate!!! 🙂 - Chris

Sounds like a great adventure. Is malaria there resistant to prophylaxis? Eg. Chloroquine, doxycycline ...

Thanks Melinda! That's a great question. When I lived there ('69-'89), we took Chloroquine. I don't know if things have changed. I'll make sure and ask Dr. Paul before we go so we know what to bring.
