I am not an international student but from a domestic student, that is how most colleges do the semesters If you start in the winter, you will have no summer break your first year to get you aligned on the correct schedule, if you had a 3 year course you would receive a summer break in between your 2nd and 3rd year. Also, you may structure it to sound like you graduate faster, but in reality you are just starting late and taking your summer break before you start school. You are not graduating any faster than someone that starts in the fall.

We totally agree! At least we can work full-time and gain work experience as soon as possible :)) Although, some of our friends struggled to pay tuition fees because they thought they can save up during the official summer break. Buti na lang they were all able to find a way to pay for the remaining semesters ❤ But yeah, overall the faster the course, the better. :))

Hi Aashree! Depending on your program Centennial will require you to take Math/English/Science that can be done online or when you arrive here. For business programs, math and english assessments are required. For Hospitality, Food and Tourism, only english assessment is required. Best to contact the college directly for more information.

Hi Jagmeet! Regarding the breaks it's best to contact the international office of Centennial as breaks varies between program to program. To answer your next question, it depends on the schedule that the college will give you on your first semester. Right now i have a classes from tues-fri (4 days). I know people who only have (3 days) class. It really depends

Hi Marni! I don't think Centennial College has loan services, but they do have scholarship programs that you can apply for. Although, scholarship programs here are different than the ones we have back home. Here in Canada, they award you a certain amount of money ranging from $250 up to $10,0000 depending on the scholarship award you applied for, but to be sure contact Centennial College about this to be sure. I just got the acceptance offer letter from the college, but the letter doesn't state the first semester fee, while it only shows the yearly tuition fee of the course. My course is starting in spring 2022. In that case, mind I ask if they will notify me about the exact amount of the first semester fee? Because I've been waiting too long for their email reply. Thanks !!
