I live in Miami, and the saddest thing to me is that no Colombian person, or Argentine person in my community stepped up and voiced an apology or regret for destroying property in my city, that place is my Dolphins home stadium, and a stadium we are proud of and they break in through vents. I am not happy..

You might have to take the steps up too. They broke the escalator. I don’t know how but you can imagine the amount of weight to put on it. I didn’t think it was possible from a human standpoint. That’s like a hippo or waves of water pressing up against the row of an Escalator.

Colombians n argentines dont care

I attended the Colombia vs Brasil game on July 2nd at Levi’s stadium. The same thing happened but at a smaller scale. Some colombian fans broke the fences and stormed into the stadium. I arrived 2 hours in advance and almost missed the start of the game. It was a nightmare. At one point after 45 minutes under the sun with my wife and children, everybody shoulder to shoulder, the environment started to get tense and dangerous. We decided to move to the back and abandon the “line”. Never saw anything reported about that.

Let's be honest they were mostly Colombians , all I saw were yellow shirts . Colombias soccer federation should be fined as they were at the center of huge problem at 2 games in a row.

Reportedly, there were issues with the Colombian fans at the Brazil v Colombia game in California as well.

The thing is people don't look at the facts and details. They associate Copa America with USA whether or not USA actually had anything to do with it. And they associate USA with being the host to the next World Cup

And it’s not like concacaf or fifa could’ve taken charge cause it is Conmebol tournament… but after all of this I think fifa should penalize Conmebol millions of the profit money and use that as refund and any liable injuries that might’ve occurred.

I agree with Nico 85% of the time. Except for the following point: the security forces, including the police, were not well instructed, there were too few of them and they didn't know how to handle the situation. To claim that you don't know how some nations - i.e. their fans - behave and that this was all unforeseeable is (sorry) very naive. Here in Europe, the bigger issue is actually how it can happen that the law enforcement, security and the guidance system has failed so badly.

1100 security officers for the Clasico are always in the Centenario stadium in Montevideo, these guys had half of that with twice the attendance. Utter failure! Velverde's wife and baby were able to get down as Darwin Nunez was pushing back on fans. I still don't think essentializing nationalities when the majority of the spectators were Colombians is fair. Also national jerseys don't correlate with the country.

Let's start by hiring a good coach to fill the vacant position. Gareth Southgate just stepped down from coaching the English national team. Maybe he can come in to coach the USMNT and help us improve. He coached England to the Euro final but finished 2nd to a very good Spanish team. He brings alot of experience coaching in Europe. We need to skake up our program a bit to meet higher standards. The 2026 world cup starts in just under 2 years so they need to start working now.

He had talent much greater than we have, and the type of talent that should not could win tournaments and he failed... claudio ranieri or ralf rangnick would be great hires, but we have horrible managers and decision makers who would never think that way.

It's not a good show. All inexperience. They are trying to build something similar to the UEFA or serie a show. But they try to cover too many topics instead of focusing on just la liga per Say. So they very little on a lot of things which .makes them look like they know nothing at all
