Chaels view on the Undertaker’s involvement as opposed to Stone cold Steve Austin is so accurate. I absolutely thought Stone Cold was going to be the final interference to overthrow The Rock. However, had that happened, the only thing we would’ve been talking about is the face off between Rock and Austin. It would’ve totally overshadowed Cody breaking the streak, winning the title, and having his moment. Genius decision from HHH.

I think the Internet unanimously agrees on this one Mr. Chael, you are completely wrong. that main event was everything. I haven’t watched wrestling in eight years, but I’ve watched it my entire life. This story along with the return of the rock, CM punk, and LA Knight they have sucked me back in. That was an emotional main event, one of if not the most emotional ones I’ve ever seen, the only thing I think they missed was maybe Hulk Hogan sitting in the crowd clapping that would have showed all of the eras of wrestling from the 80s till now. As much as I would have loved to see Stone cold in the undertakers spot you are correct about that there’s too much ego involved with them two so the undertaker made perfect sense.

Its the facts that other ppl ALSO got him there like hhh and his family. Cody has thanked the fans 10million times over and im 100% that the fans know that cody appreciate them. Aure you can saw the match wasnt great for whatever reason BUT its a PROFORMANCE. Thats the way the wwe wanted it to go. And for someone to say they did it wrong but it also be the biggest show ever is just stupid because thats the way they wanted it to go. The wwe is the biggest brand in the sport FOR A REASON. Thats because when they do it they dont do it half assed. They go all out and put ppl over on others. And they did that with wrestlemania. This was the biggest event ever in wwe. And it wasnt even close to another. From the very start to the very end. And it brought ALOT of old fans back to see it again. And to see that those fans were happy as fuck. So there wasnt a problem with wrestlemania and honestly if you think so you just dont understand the business and the profession.

I have two big takeaways I disliked 1. Not enough Rock. Let’s be honest the main reason main stream America was invested in this feud was cause of the Rock awesome heel work both Cody n Reigns were pretty much boring on the mic this entire build up. I thought blood line rules meant we’d see more blood line messing up the match for Cody to make him more of an underdog yet we basically gave him a 1 on 1 until the very end which felt weak cause other wrestlers immediately saved Cody before we could even feel the hopelessness this overall mad the match feel generic and boring until the end were we see all the HoFers come in and save the match. I was expecting to see more of Rock bloodline and Momma Rhoades. Instead we basically got the same fight as last wrestlmania except the very end. 2. It should have been Stone Cold that came in to finish the Rock not the Undertaker who made zero sense and is not big enough of a star to put out the Final Boss The Rock. Their star power wasn’t close back then and it ain’t close now. There should only be two guys that can finish the Rock on that stage Hogan n Stone Cold. Stone Cold made a lot more sense because of him and Rocks legendary feud Taker being there makes no sense to me
