If I’m not wrong, you can make custom bong designs. Idk if it’s just me cuz I like art and find it easy, but you can use glass paint. Paint on your bong and place it in the oven. It should cure to the glass. I haven’t tried myself, but always wanted to make my own weed trays.

The simple answer: they were clear. They may have had a nice little sticker/etching of the company like "illadelph" or "ROOR". Colored glass was limited to only pipes and things that resembled pipes like pinch hitters, chilliums, bubblers. But bongs were always clear.

I still have the bong, but the logo wore off. it was a darkened clear yellow about 2 foot and the base was an old tomato sauce can filled with some kind of plastic to seal the bottom. there was a small sticker reading "graphics Corp" and the rest of the label was gone. not graffix like it is spelled today. I used to tell people about the logo on bottom and most people (being high) would end up turning the bong over to see the logo and bong water went everywhere. pretty funny, I thought...
