Actually, the Jirachi theme is good, but having the wish being manifested is literally dreams coming true. That could be the theme of his team, he is chasing after the elusive Mew can represent his childhood innocence that he and Ash represent, but at different stages. His Dreams and Nightmares being manifested into Cresselia and Darkrai. Don't know how to incorporate the other Pokemon. Maybe Dreamcatchers Thunderbird like Zapdos? Weak connection. Suicune has a purifying effect, so sweet dreams are pure? I mean you can make an arguement to do some Unova representation with a Victini making the deciding factor? But I don't think anyone would want a tainted win on either side.

I think his next 4 pokemon would have been lugia, zaptos, creselia and mybe mew/mewtwo. Crecelia being his final defense, having it use lunar dance before it faints to revive darkrai Given that it's only 4 gens during the sinnoh league ark he'd likely have 1 legendary and 1 mythical for each region. Since we saw his first pokemon had been a mythical while his second was legendary, the rest would follow the theme going backwards from sinnoh to kento.

The reason why I wouldn’t give him any box legends is because in the anime it seems there is only one of them in existence. Also He didn’t end up becoming Champion, Do Cynthia beat him.

I would say rather than Zapdos, it's far more fitting to give Tobias a Moltres at this juncture of the series. In a lot of ways the Sinnoh League was a symbolic ending to an era of the anime and they had at least acknowledged Moltres' flame as part of the League torch traditionally up to this point, so I think thematically this could be played up a lot here in the League. Really bring us back to Ash's first Pokemon League. Even Mr Goodshow is here watching. Then I would say giving Suicune is too predictable for the Johto rep but the only Johto Legendary Ash had yet to have any meaningful encounters with up to this point is Raikou. i know you're not a fan of it, but it would be far more impactful here than Suicune for like the 4th time, not counting movies. Mew might be going too far, but I am not opposed, but Darkrai, his signature Pokemon, literally has a counterpart, Crescelia, another event pokemon that can serve the same purpose. Just saying. (Admittedly there is overlap with Latios and Cresselia)

Actually the opening did hint at Tobias 3rd legendary Pokemon and it was Entei since it was the 3rd Pokemon shown in the opening along with Latios and Darkrai so it makes sense

Bcz latios and latias are always together) Idk last one. It could be a pseudo legendary dragon type/ sinno starter/ lugia

Nope he would not have mew because in journeys we know that mew is still not caught by any trainer and people are still searching to capture it And jirachi is so rare and it only wakes up like in a million years so its impossible to catch it even if you know the locations and suicune may or may not because its caught by go in journeys and you could say its another but i dont think his team will have all rare ones because he start with a pokemon from his region Then capture legendaries all his legendaries like latios and darkrai came from his own region cause latios roam around its easy to capture and we know that there are multiple and darkrai being rare its not said that its only 1 in the world Zapdos maybe it can be caught so are the other legendary birds But i think he would only have 1 more or no legendaries left cause he then fought Cynthia and as we know he lost and legendaries are power houses so basically he lost with 6 legendaries would be something stupidity on the person part so basically darkrai and latios was his only aces .

He would not have any because he lost to Cynthia So basically legendaries and mythical full team can't loose to a garchomp so no People speculate that he have all legends and mythicals but it's just overhyping him a bit

@@VizDdraig-j5x I don't think it's that simple. Having strong pokemon doesn't mean you can beat anyone. He may have had more legendaries, or he may not have, we just don't know. Another theory is that he's got an action replay lol.

@@soulglitcher well the prospect of having more legendaries does give him higher chances of winning and becoming a champion Cynthia is a strong trainer but she is not strong enough to fight on a whole team of legendaries that would be absurd. In Pokemon world it is said that having 1 legendary is a big accomplishment on itself but having 2 is already a impossible feat but we are talking about a whole team that's absurd cause they are given legendary status for a reason because they are so rare and believing that he travelled all the regions to collect these mons and participated in a tournament with collecting badges is a bit too much After travelling the entire regions even go had only caught 3 if we include eternatus and that too with ash help My theory is that he got Darkrai from his own place maybe a childhood Pokemon or he met it and befriended it on his journey and he found latios as it roamed and caught it with Darkrai dream eater So basically he caught both in the same region and Darkrai was so powerful that he got all badges and tournament with only him but Ash took out Darkrai so he used latios for the first time. But it's later stated that he lost to Cynthia because Cynthia is still the champion .
