Thank you so much! I remember watching this sketch back when! The Revolting Women’ team Showing Not Telling how it is! Amazing - And it’s been parodied by other comedienne’s ! Along the way! It shows how long it’s taken from days of the days of my Grandmother who had an Officer name his war Horse Nellie after her, yet She didn’t have the right to vote! It was a brilliant sketch show and I loved it. My great grandmother Charlotte had friends who were Suffragette’s the Women who fought for Women’s rights! I wonder some times have we come so far for so very little! But today this sketch rings out so True, a telling and re- telling of how Some of the Boys in Blue, still behave today! When Women or any one else tried to report an assault! Whether its Women or Men or Anyone else they are biased to! I actually have a good friend, who was a taxi driver years ago, he got mugged and seriously beaten up all his nights takings stolen! He had to be hospitalised. But At the police station. The police actually said did you do it yourself? And didn’t do anything much! I can’t name the station for fear of reprisals But later on when the three young men offended again! They wanted his help! His reply “ Get Stuffed. ” I think that speaks volumes! Incase your wondering I’m a Published - spoken word artist & performance Poet! After all these years I can only add! Dum - Spiro - Spiro! ( Translation ) While I breathe - I hope! All kinds of Prejudice will change! For In a world full of Sadness - Anger & Fears In the throws of lockdown, curfew and Tears. In the darkness of political correctness, never have we needed to be done place where there’s, some music and Laughter and tonight, for me that was here!
