I remember when the game was only 5 factions.... I feel like if they added a 9th faction to the game separating out the fae makes sense. I could also see possibly doing something like the gibbering hoard for one of the crew. I like the idea of expanding into other parts of the world of Malifaux. I will also state I dislike dual factions master so any we can make clean moves with I feel is good and that also opens up for adding more to the factions that lost the masters.

Yeah it's always better to get more new characters in the game, but I feel at least a few should jump over to make it feel familiar

A 2nd monsters based faction would be cool. Almost every faction has humans and robots but if you want monsters you need neverborn. All puppet faction, or puppet focused. Bring back collodi and have zoraida dual NB + puppets. Graduate Hinamatsu to master and add in some new ones. Would love a master of whoever crafted Collodi

I'm a big fan of M&SU being it's own faction now with Ramos not being in the picture. I feel he was the glue that kept all the Arcanists together and now it feels the heads of the Arcanists only make deals and temporary alliances to benefit themselves.

Yeah I think their future is still unclear, but if Ramos comes back I think things will have to be different. I don't see him just taking back his old position

@@DefectiveDice I don't see him coming back to the M&SU but if I remember correctly he was loved by the union if only because they didn't know his actual agenda. I feel M&SU has so much potential and laid groundwork for new masters, models, ect.

If they create some "Ancients" faction, I hope that only Jacob lynch 2 is the dual master. With Jacob 1 being just a Thunders Master

a fae faction does sound pretty cool. im relatively new, and not totally up on all the lore. but I would love to see the DUA as its own faction. some sort of secret organization highly specialized. I just like the idea of it. do we know for sure they are adding a faction?

Don't know anything for sure, just speculating about what could be coming. DUA would make a cool faction, though it might be hard to develop that little group into a whole 9 master thing

​@@DefectiveDice it doesnt have a ton of overlap with current factions, masters would be very different both in theme and powers, perhaps with an emphasis on stealth. im sure it would be possible to come up with 9 masters for a special agent, secret society faction. id be all over it lol. do you think we are close to a new edition?

A Snek faction might be cool. I'd think though, that a faction with strong ties to the Other Side might make a good addition... But please, Wyrd, for the love of gawd, release the last 2 starters before adding any new factions.

Didn't Marcus come to neverborn because of Titania and she gave him some power? Wouldn't he make sense to join Titania too? Especially since Titania seems to be tied with all sorts of beasts just like Marcus.

They aren't exactly working together, it's more like a tense truce. But I'm not sure what makes Marcus make sense in a fae faction. Even though I'd love to see that cuz Marcus is my favorite master to play
