GW(if they arnt total morons) will 100% make Perty team up with Vashy. And a lot of theory's speculate that the lock is infact the golden throne. So I speculate two possible endings to Vashtors Arch. 1) perterabo purposefully let's Vashtor be killed of maimed by a revived Dorne so that he can take the soul forge. 2) Perterabo gets Vashy into the throne room just to sacrifice him to the emperor. Redeeming Perty, and possibly setting up a traitor or fallen return arc for Dorne.

So there is very interesting lore as to what the artifacts are. Tchulca, ouroborous and something else are essentially three pieces of a whole/warp entity created by the old ones. I believe when they are combined they enable time travel, which is what happened when caliban exploded and all the fallen were thrown across space time. It was super interesting when I read about it but I don't recall all the details. Essentially this would give vashtor time travelling abilities

Maybe the complete key takes you into deeper parts of the warp where even though the chaos gods dont go into it, it is essential to ascending. My head canon tells me its because of the warp engine that was taken from the dark angels. Maybe thats why the emperor had to go into the warp to take knowledge or power. Maybe he himself went into a different area. But maybe once you obtain some of that power, the deep warp tries to swallow you so you never go back into it. Which is why Tzentch threw fateweaver into it but didnt want to go in himself.

If Vashtorr get's what he want's, he could very well become one of the biggest threat's to the galaxy! Think about it, he controls the distribution of Chaos' technology, so if he ascends to Chaos lord then he would either cut off the supply for the others to put them at a major disadvantage or sit there, having the other's bid for his wears in order to keep the game going in there favor! In fact, Vashtorr could become the most powerful Daemon overnight if he ascends! There's a shit ton of industrial work and mad science that happens EVERY HOUR in 40K! Every Titan Stompa or such, every gun and weapon more advanced then just sharpened metal, every new technological development, almost anything psyker related, every ship that get's built, EVERY SPACE MERINE SUIT TO HAVE EVER BEEN MADE! All of that would fuel Vashtorr at a rate no other Daemon could match, and the more that is made the faster he will grow, with a whopping ONE faction that can be definitively counted as not being a source of power (Tyranids) by the time the rest of the galaxy knows what's going on he will have become one of, if not the most powerful beings in the setting!
