He's a solid number 2 centre. That costs about 8-9 mil plus nowadays. Everyone commenting 6 mil don't realize that the cap is going to rise exponentially and agents are negotiating on that basis.

He should get 5-6 million. He’s a poor man’s version of Ryan nugent hopkins who makes 6 million. Lindholm had proven time and time again both in Vancouver and Calgary that his offensive talents is that of a third line centre. Gaudreau and Tkachuk carried him that one year.

I think he gets 4 yrs 6 million somewhere to play a defensive 2C who will help with a PK but not offer a lot points-wise.

Agreed, he has proven his big totals that one year was a fluke because Gaudreau and Chucky carried him. He’s a 3C on most teams maybe a 2C on a bad team. Vancouver had him as a 3C. On Edmonton, he would slot in as 4C behind Mcdavid, Drasaitl and RNH

Exactly. His ego is going to get checked when he sees that everyone views him as a 2C or 3C centre which is a 6 million. Hes basically a less talented version of Ryan Nugent Hopkins who makes 6 million
