Prince Harry could write about Prince Charles, for example, not taking Harry on bicycle rides when he was a young child, not protecting him from inheriting mental health issues from poor parenting(!!). I disagree with Andrew Morton's comparison between the Queen moving to Malta when she was Princess Elizabeth VS Prince Harry moving to America. Princess Elizabeth moved to malta in order to support her husband's career as a naval officer and did not quit as a senior royal member leaving her father ( the King) and monarchy shaky. Her dedication to her country cannot be compared to a spoiled & irresponsible man coming close to 40. What Prince Harry did as a 6th in line of succession to the throne was a cowardice act . Andrew, thank you for all your books and your information over the years. I have followed the Royal family my whole life. I guess we in the US have been in awe of them, at least in the old days. I think the Queen has done an exceptional job and I believe she should be highly respected. She has been through a lot, even taking the raines as a young woman. It bothers me that Harry and others are giving her so much trouble at this time especially after the death of her husband. Unless you have experienced the death of a spouse after many years of marriage, you cannot understand the pain and sorrow involved. It is devastating, and it's a wonder she's still standing. I can still remember working the night shift at the hospital and my co-worker from the Philippines, crying while watching the news. First we heard she had been in car wreck, then we heard, she had died. That was a sad night.

As an American, I greatly enjoyed this interview. Seeing Andrew Morton makes me realize how many years it has been since his Diana book came out. He's aged very gracefully, and is always tactful, as ever. I'm very close to Prince Charles' age and when I think of how HMTQ has handled crises for her country and amongst her family members, I have great love and respect for her. I can't imagine what life will be like for the Brits when this marvelous monarch passes away. It's no secret that the majority don't think Prince Charles will be a great King, and I think that's unfair. However, the future of the monarchy lies with Catherine and William and their lovely children. The monarchy is so fortunate to have this wonderfully warm, immensely attractive and quietly dignified couple to carry on the work of HMTQ. I look forward to reading Andrew's book!

Neither him NOR Meghan have EVER said they wanted "privacy" that was a bogie put out there by the British tabloids. The couple acknowledged there would be interest in their work and had no problem being photographed as part of their working lives, but wanted their private family time respected - like any family should be entitled to have. However he is much loved by ALL his grandchildren in the UK, whether biological or step-grandchildren. And it is hard to fool kids for long. And far from aging badly, Camilla is aging NATURALLY without botox, plastic surgery or the other means used by celebrities who are afraid to age as nature intended. When you spend a lifetime OUTDOORS without using super expensive plastic surgeons or beauticians then you generally age as nature intended which is what has happened with Camilla. She spends a lot of time outdoors in the garden, with the horses, walking in the countryside, all activities which generally leave their mark on the person. I don't think a woman who spends all her time indoors, visiting beauticians, having botox and other treatments, looking after her skin and looks to remain looking young rather than natural is something any of the royals do. They ALL prefer the outdoors and fair play to them, it is a much healthier lifestyle and the perfect antidote to constantly meeting people and dealing with politics and other similar things. And it is that same naturalness that draws people to Camilla, makes her popular with children and adults alike around the world, no matter how rich or poor they are or what their station in life is. (try reading some of the comments by those she interacted with in Jordan and Egypt, they loved her and she compared incredibly favourably with many other well known people from other countries/governments etc). The feud will be mended IF HARRY apologises (nothing at all to do with Camilla) both to his father, his brother, his grandmother and the CITIZENS HE INSULTED, as well as the military he let down badly. Lastly, if you think there are no public displays of affection between William and Catherine then may I recommend you look at some of the many images and videos which display this affection, very publicly. You don't have to constantly hang off each other (which Charles/Camilla don't anyway) to show affection publicly, it can be as little as a look or a smile.

If Harry's book contains anything about his family I would like it to contain the truth and HAVE to accept that it may not necessarily be the idolised version many people hold about this family. Its funny how I keep reading comments saying "no one is perfect" yet when Harry tells something that's not "ideal" about members of the family he is accused of lying, throwing his family under the bus and berating his family. If we are to accept that no one is perfect why is it sooooo difficult to accept that imperfect people also exist in this family, with less than favourable ideas and opinions or rather why is there this expectation that only nice things should ever be said about members of this family! Harry is the one living in this family. Over the years I have witnessed many images put up about this family only for facts to be revealed, contrary to what we were led to believe. Surely, we have entered a stage in life when we can be honest and accept that members within this family has flaws and foibles. Yet sooooo many want to keep this mythicised, idolised version of this family. It makes no sense whatsoever. We only have to look at the lives of Princess Margaret and Prince Andrew to see that the life of the spares is never an easy or pleasant one and often leads to poor life choices for those who choose to remain in the fold, following the old tradition. Sooo Harry decides to break the mold and do something different, if nothing else, to change the course of his predicted life and rather than understand his reasons people are out proudly in their droves wishing him and his family ill, mocking his choices and hating him for speaking up. When we look at Wiliam and Kate I see a couple who look more miserable and unhappy than anyone I've seen in this family for a long time, William never seems to even like standing next to his wife, never extends a hand to help her, never extends an umberella to shelter her from the rain yet everyone pretends like they are the picture of absoloute bliss. Even Prince Philip displayed more gentlemanly gestures towards his wife the Queen. All the young and even older couples at the jubilee celebrations over the weekend looked happy to be next to each other, except William and Kate. I've head about William's temper and rage over many years, he always has his jaws so tightly clenched like he's raging at someone. GOSH I hope that's not the vision for the future. They just look like they can't bear to be next to each other.

@@vibhaspalding6457 it’s too soon to have forgotten the hands-on parenting Prince Phillip gave from the beginning to his sons and daughter. When the grandchildren were old enough to spend time with the Queen without their parents, Her Majesty gave them loads of personal time. Think of all the families with little ones with childminders or in nurseries from morning to evening, au pairs or nannies because both parents are working full time. Life can be complex and most families are doing their best. We can all support and love the families we know and care about, then we’ll know we’re doing our best as well.😇
