if trump makes Canada and Greenland the 51st and 52nd states you well know republicans will never win an election ever again

@_boring-videos. buying Greenland doesn’t mean it has to be a state. It could just be a U.S. territory.

I think Rhode Island will be the next to "pull a New jersey" and bolt right. Similar demographics and feel. RI is to MA what NJ is to NY

Well I would add Virginia New Mexico and also keep Georgia red including Minnesota. And heck in a couple decades NY and CA, I am from LA and it is getting so red

@Rob_TheBoss California will remain solidly Democrat. It's full of left Wingers.
@beckybecky96436 күн бұрын
no lol, 2024 is not the rule, its the exception. one election doesn't define trends. Obama was close to winning Montana, and now its a safe red, but its still trending to the left. New Mexico is trending rightward, so I could see an argument there, but Virginia has been trending pretty hard to the left (again, 2024 is not the rule, its the exception). Georgia is also leftward trending, it will most likely be a 3-5 point margin for democrats in the coming years (if they pull their act together) or maybe even more in a good year. Minnesota, while generally trending rightward, is defying all odds and just sticking blue. its like the reverse North Carolina; just in the other party's grasps, but not enough to flip it. that's how I see Minnesota. New York.... maybe. I don't see New York getting closer than 5 points for a whiiile. California will stay a blue state lol. it's been way redder even just this century. Al Gore only won the state by like 11.8 points, and Kerry won it by less than 10. Kamala kept it above 20; it's not going red anytime soon (unless a Reagan-like victory).

@ yess, my point was just that! that years like 2008 or 2024 were exceptions, and not rules.

@@beckybecky9643 2024 was almost identical to 2016 the lone exception was Nevada. So I don't know how you can say it was the exception 2008 yes Obama was unique 2024 I don't see it.

based on current trends, north dakota is gaining a lot of population

@@JPgamingandfun I haven't seen any data that shows massive growth for north Dakota. Sure Fargo and Bismarck is gaining population but it's not explosive growth like it is in places down south or out west. Montana just gained a house seat why would they lose it again so quick?

I'm from texas and no, people are actually going more red than blue. Hispanic majority counties became red this year, and most counties actually became more Republican. So to answer your statement, unless Republicans do something that really upsets Texas, Texas will most likely not turn blue.
