Berm Peak

Күн бұрын

Now that we're ready to dig downhill trails, what's the plan? Today, we take a look at Berm Peak as a whole and decide what the overall layout will be.
The map you'll see in the video is a rough idea of how many trails I want, and where they're go. The names and exact routes will probably change as we work our way through the woods.

I see a lot of you have already spotted that driveway gap opportunity... I can’t promise to build that because it actually gets a little more complicated than the topo map lets on over there. We need to work our way over there. Still, I’ve been eying it since before moving in and will do it if possible!

There’s this tool called a “pull man” basically u clamp around of base of up to a 4 inch thick tree and then u just push down on the lever, and it literally just pulls the whole tree roots included out of the ground in a few seconds, works really well for just medium to small stuff that you can’t pull by hand or would have to cut with the saw cause it just too big for the snips really recommed it even if u just try it a little

Another enjoyable edition, I have added "moonshangle panhandle" and "pucker plank" to the SBH lexicon. Shame you couldn't incorporate those big logs as some kind of North shore feature or even build up the dirt on the uphill side for nice drop off. Also that soil is so soft and spongy! You can dig out the soil around the root by hand? Wow. Crashing on that must be like crashing in pillows. Is this what this magical loam stuff is?
