Love your reaction lol Don’t worry they can be kept small almost indefinitely, I’ve seen Seiryu 25 years old 6 feet tall! Thanks for watching and posting. Carl

@@Japanesemaplesis there a trick for keeping them under control if they’re in the ground, this variety and others too? Or are pots the safest bet if I’d like to collect a few different varieties?

@@JayGillUK I’ve seen people put Japanese maples in pots then bury the pots, but not tried it… pots are best because the really can get very large. Dwarf varieties could work, but in pots you have far more control 👍
