Re: Kirk Whilst it does suit the Falcons for teams to believe that there’s more life in Cousins career, I think you overlooked what this might say about Raheem‘s competence as HC. It could be argued that he/the other coaches mismanaged the injury status of Kirk, Koo and Anderson, all of which negatively affected the team. That’s hardly encouraging heading into 2025.

Pretty sure cutting a player doesn't affect comp picks. They are based on lost FA and sign FA.

I'd be comfortable with a couple players and a 2nd rd this year and next year's first. Garrett been putting up double digit sacks for the BROWNS. No Jerrett, no Onyemata, no Ellis. Cant double Jerrett and Garrett. Now imagine Garrett and Green on either side and all Green could soak up from Garrett. That 1 move would have a huge impact on our D-line. If Trice turns out to be a stud we'll be scary af up front

anyone else think this is a bad idea or is it only me? i like myles garrett, but to just fling out the plan to build the team for 1 person when the defense is complete trash just seems dumb to me. we dont have LBs, we dont have a CB2 or CB3 and we dont have another S next to bates. why just throw picks away for a guy thats already 29? we can finally focus on the defense starting this draft. rather take the eagles blueprint and actually take quality guys and build thru the draft

trade the 1st, cousins, pitts, allgier and take on all of garrett’s contract. pretty much fixes our cap, doesn’t take to much draft capital and is valuable for the browns. only issue is kirk’s contract so might have to take on some of his contract to get it done

I'm so glad some of you people are not our GM. The Browns are 30 million over. Plus have a huge QB contract already. Also Cousins would need to be post June 1st to really help. Pre-June 1st only says like 2.5 million. Post June 1st saves 27.5 million.
