"Have I taught you nothing?" In the final moments of the film Amir finally mans up enough to confront his father-in-law, the General. That is my favorite scene. The look his wife gives him is beautifully rendered.

This scene is my personal favorite of this movie and this shows why Baba is my favorite character in this movie. He is a very honorable man. He was willing to die for strangers so the woman wouldnt get raped by that soldier. I dread how this scene might've gone down had Baba not been here. I honestly respect people like him and wish there were more people like Baba in this world

A lot of people are not noticing but this is the clear difference between Baba and Amir, Baba stepped down to save a stranger, but Amir didn't even saved his own best friend.

You can't raise a brave and honourable young man without setting an example. Baba was walking to take a bullet, Amir went toe to toe with his old enemy and Taliban commander. While the child Amir may have been a coward, the adult who saved that boy, definitely was someone whom baba would be proud of.

No if you want to find out the worst the things one can do, I'd consider those things to be rape, murdering innocent people in cold blood, events like the Crusades, witch trails, Holocaust. Adultery is definitely wrong but it's nowhere even to those other things mentioned above.
