What would you do if you couldn't fail?
Just 2 years ago, Zander Fryer was a successful engineer.
Making over $200,000 a year, as a kid in his mid-twenties.
Living in Venice Beach, flying around the country, driving a BMW… He had it all.
But after a mentor asked him this one question:
What would you do if you couldn’t fail?
He quit. And he left without notice.
In this talk, he'll tell you why... Zander Fryer, best-selling author, internationally-renowned speaker, and world traveler, is more than just a corporate dropout. After quitting his successful corporate career at age 27, Zander launched his company Sh*t You Don't Learn in College to inspire and empower entrepreneurs to build successful businesses while adding value to the world. His training impacts over 50,000 people in 22 different countries and more than 300 organizations. Mentor to millionaires, Super Bowl champions, and best-selling authors alike, he is praised as "the next generation leader" by #1 best-selling author Jack Canfield and regarded as "unstoppable" by the President of Massively Human Leadership, Kathleen Seeley. Zander's passion to drive the next generation of leaders to shake this world up is creating a movement. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Similarly, I've heard there are only 2 emotions: Fear & Love. Purpose seems to be a personal re-frame for "loving ourself". If I love myself, I know I need to fulfill this purpose or my entire life will be compromised and I will pay the cost of thinking and regretting "what could have been" on my deathbed. I appreciate this perspective of Purpose & Fear driving our decisions. : )

Hi! Awesome talk, Zander! Also just want to put this out there as our resident Animal Liberation and Animal Rights advocate, animals are sentient beings who deserve to be referred to as "they/he/she" and not as "it". Animals are not things, and therefore should not be referred to as "it's". Referring to a non-human animal as an "it" perpetuates the idea that they are a thing with whom we can do as we please. This is a speciesist paradigm which has no place in a compassionate and progressive world. Thanks for your consideration!
